Great time very professional and friendly service had the drinks deal worth the money.
Getting on board a 68 yr old ship to see Sydney in another perspective, this cruise made it amazing! I found it a bit scary going down the quarters and opening the rooms though. Smells a bit musty like beer mixed with wood but I guess that's a norm. It's not that strong anyway. No need to buy the drinks package for us as we were not big drinkers and the tour only lasted over an hour. They also serve some snacks i.e. sausages & cheese filo which was really tasty! The views from the ship were amazing & the sunset was breathtaking! Love the stories and facts from the guide who was very knowledgeable & engaged us as well. It was also great trying to help lower down the sails! A must try!
A great afternoon. Crew were friendly & competent. Snacks were delicious. Actually got the sails up and off we went. Everyone had a very enjoyable experience.
Capping our short visit to the land down under is the Hunter Valley wine, cheese, vodka tasting tour. We enjoyed all the 3 winery tours but I wished that all of them explained in more details the characteristics of each wine we sampled to better appreciate the origin of each variety. This tour came with a sumptuous lunch with good selection of food. Our guide "Cheeks" was quite a good entertainer not having a dull moment! Would highly recommend this tour to my family and friends!
It was one of my best days during my hoyliday in AU. Lovely people, wonderful views and beautiful weather. Our guide was a funny and good hearted guy. I can only recommend this trip to anyone who is looking for a fun and awesome adventure.
It was an amazing one day trip, this is my first time going to Blue mountain.
It was an amazing vacation. Wildlife Park was my favorite stop hanging with the kangaroos and koala Bears. Blue Mountains were stunning just wish we would have had more time to explore the area more. Wasn't impressed with the Olympic Stadium. Blah! Overall I think the tour was amazing, tour guide/driver was great. This trip is definitely worth the $ and I would recommend it.
Really enjoyed this. You get complacent about how amazing our country is. Travelled from Sydney out to the Blue Mountains and then the caves. The countryside, the animals and just the wonderful scenery made it worth the trip. Our driver/guide was knowledgeable and I really appreciated the balance between commentary and relaxing drive tunes. The caves are incredible and I have no problems recommending this trip to visitors and locals alike. Thanks guys.
Overall, I think the offer is a good value. However, each of the experiences left different impressions. We loved Sea Life and Madame Tussauds the most. Wild Life was okay; there was not much to be seen, to be honest, and I would question the quality of life of some residents there, but overall, it looked nice and tidy, not crowded. The Sydney Eye Tower was perhaps the most odd experience we had in Sydney. The staff were hurrying everyone up somewhere without giving clear instructions, so when we entered the lift, we had no clue what level we were supposed to go to as there was a mixed group, and some people were going to the restaurant instead. Then it turned out it was just the first lift of two, so there was another queue and, again, no instructions from the staff. Then another walk, another queue and the final lift. The viewing platform is full of people as there are not many sitting places, so people just sit at the windows for a long. I guess some may had been waiting for the sunrise as the evening tickets sold out pretty quickly. There was heaps of rubbish in the rubbish bin and in the bathrooms, so it didn't feel pleasant to stay there. The windows looked pretty dirty as well as everyone touched them with their foreheads and hands. I personally was not impressed by the views and appreciated the views off the bridge viewing platforms much more. I could have been less critical. However, we went to the tower in Gold Coast, and our experience in Sydney is not even close to that one. Perhaps, it's worth it if that's the only viewing platform you go to in Sydney or the weather is nasty, but I would definitely skip this for a better one.
This just misses out on 5 stars because the chocolate tasting was lackluster. Almost not worth the stop as in and out in 10 minutes and a small sample of chocolates with no explanations or introductions. However the rest of the day was great. 16 tasters of wine plus a full glass at lunch. The first vineyard was excellent, the host asked us all which wines we liked and catered the tasters to the group. The vodka tasting was also a highlight of the day. Got to try as many of the vodkas/liquors as we wanted to. And were all lovely.
Thanks to our tour guide, Alanah. I have so enjoyed the tour. No crowd which I was really after for. The facts she shared about Australia is just making me wanna live there. By the way, it was exactly the Australia Day when we had the tour (26Jan2019) that's why we felt more "local". The music, the food, the vibe, right mate> haha.. :) In the photo is us 6 tourists. Enjoy the world guys!
Relaxing, comfy daytrip out to Blue Mt (breathtaking 3 Sisters) and Jenolan Cave in aircon minibus, lovely informative, driver, v helpful and friendly... we made a new friend...tnx George. Even loved the choice of music on board. Would have loved bit more time to do Scenic world, missed out, lack of time. Cave was interesting, w high and low windy steps inside(plenty of them), but manageable. Loved the last landing w pretty lights. Tour was informative, lasting 90min including waiting and talks. Well lit paths. Worth a visit. Lots other free walks around, with Blue lake on site. Bring plenty water in hot summer. Overall v happy wth trip. Highly recommend it !!!
We are a family with 2 children aged 12 and 9. We visited Madame Tussauds & Sydney Eye Tower. All 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed both activities & had plenty of time to do both on the same time. Lots of great photo opportunities and easily accessible via public transport. A considerable saving of about $10 per ticket when booking through bookme.com.au so saved about $40 in total. Highly recommend.
Mark, our guide was excellent. He was witty and very knowledgeable. Shared stories and the history of places we passed by as while heading up the blue mountains. Mark took us to lookout points that not many people frequent, so we got the whole place to ourselves. Absolutely amazing! We didn’t have to squeeze and fight with others to have our pictures taken. I liked our little group, 9 people in total. My 5 year old son especially loved the Featherdale Park and racing Mark to the van. Thank you, Mark for making our trip a memorable one.
Absolutely brilliant day out! Cheeks the driver was both funny and informative. The tour was fab, great wineries and great lunch! The cheese tasting was definitely a highlight, even had to buy some cheese and bring it back. Lunch was delicious! We had the cheese burger & pizza, the burger was so filling we ended up boxing the whole pizza up and eating it on the way back to Sydney. Wouldn't recommend going with anyone else because it was a faultless day!
Sam was very sociable, friendly, helpful, informative throughout the trip. Informed us about the historical aspects of Australia. What an experience the Lucas cave was, well worth the tour. We highly recommend this tour to anyone, please consult your doctor on your health as this trip is a physically challenging one in steps, a great workout to get your heart rate pumping. Thanks again, Sam. Gooo the mighty #AllBlacks
It's amazing and worth every penny you paid. Our guide and driver was so nice making the trip more enjoyable. The view of every points he took us to was wonderful and breathtaking.
What an amazing and fun tour. Picked up slightly late but the other 99.9% of the day went awesomely. Our tour guide Mark was an absolute treat and very entertaining as well as informative. Highly recommended. Hopefully you'll be able to view the video below... https://youtu.be/EEUe34rsTik
Amazing experience! Tour guide (Sam) was very enthusiastic, entertaining and knowledgeable. We also had an awesome group of travellers. I was travelling solo and made a bunch of new friends. We stopped at wildlife park and interacted with the Australian native animals. We then stopped at several lookouts, had an awesome lunch (super fresh), did a hike and were told the history and story of the places. Highlight of my Sydney trip!! Highly recommend!! :)
Overall trip is good. Comfortable coach & journey. Could be better if driver don't use mobile phone at all during driving. It's pretty dangerous which could lead to accident.
Good experience. recommended. The tour is well organized and our guide John, was friendly and perfect. He explained places, animals, plants and landscapes. really recommended
I enjoyed that we had a guide who was very knowledgable , but also that the tour offered us free time to roam around on our own. It was a cloudy day... still we made the most of the day
Great experience! Can buy tasty wine with good price!
My guide, Billy, made this trip such a memorable one. He was full of knowledge about not only the mountains, creatures that live there and how to survive, but also about the history of Sydney and the aboriginal people. Had a fantastic time at the feather dale animal sanctuary getting to pet and feed kangaroos and all sorts of critters. Much better environment than a zoo. Blue mountains were absolutely stunning, had more than enough time to explore. Billy took us on one of his special hikes since we were a smaller group. We had a fantastic lunch of sandwiches and delicious apple pies. Overall one of the best times I had all vacation, it was very nice to get out of the heart of Sydney and into the quaint mountain town of Katoomba. Would definitely recommend this trip to anyone!
Really enjoyed the day out. The vineyards we stopped at where great and our tour guide for the day was amazing .
BookMe has a very good price. If you by directly at their kiosk, it would roughly be the same price for 1 attraction.
Friendly, knowledgeable guide. Heaps packed into the day and it was great to stop off at different look outs to explore. Loved the blue mountains cable car, amazing views. Featherdale was also great to get close up with kangaroos, combats. Highly recommend. Thanks Steve for a great day!
Do it you won’t regret it
It was a nice experience and our tour guide, Mark has done a superb job by making the whole trip is interesting. This is definitely one of the tour u need to join when you are looking forward to visit blue mountain
