Whale Watching and Sydney Harbour Cruise - Departs Darling Harbour

Join the crew at Go Whale Watching Sydney as we make our way from Darling harbour, taking in the famous Sydney Harbour land marks and out to the open ocean for an epic Whale Watching experience!

Our Sydney cruises depart from Darling Harbour and pass many of Sydney's famous landmarks including Luna Park, the Harbour Bridge, Circular Quay, Sydney Opera House, Kirabilly House, Fort Denison, Bradley's Head, the mansions of Rose Bay! During the weekend cruises you will see the Harbour alive with colourful sailing boats

Once out past the Heads the fun really starts as we start to look for the wonderful Humpback Whales migrating past. Our land based spotters will hopefully help us to find the whales in no time at all! The majority of the migrating whales spotted are Humpback whales, but you will also have the chance to see other species like Southern Rights, Minkes, Bryde’s Blue and Orcas, as well as other marine life like dolphins, sea turtles, Australian Fur Seals, a bounty of sea birds

Our best efforts are made to ensure your cruise is an enjoyable one but please remember these are wild animals and do not perform on cue! A range of behaviours may be viewed from spy hopping to breaching and tail slipping. Our professional crew ensures minimal disturbance to the animals we are encountering, while providing and informative commentary and always being happy to answer any questions you may have

Tour includes:

  • Your cruise will be approx. 2 hours 45 minutes depending upon where whales are found
  • Chance to spot a variety of Whales and other wildlife
  • Informative commentary from our crew
  • Complimentary tea, coffee and drinking water. Morning / Afternoon tea consisting of tea, coffee, cake and fruit is available on the return journey

An amazing day out!!

Such a brilliant day out - the tour was very well organised, staff were all friendly, and we couldn't have picked a better day for it! Please bare in mind that there are no guarantees when doing this trip - we got super lucky seeing many whales and one which kept the entertainment going for most of the trip! All in all, this is a must do trip in Sydney and I will be recommending this to all of my friends and family! Thanks again!

A wild wxpwriwnce

It seemed like a great idea at first, but most people throwing up, and the fact the event wasnt cancelled due ro bad weather didn't rate high enough for professionalism. Im sorry but not a fan at all after this experience, and wont be recomending to family and friends.

Excellent

Rough sea meant playful whales and a complimentary roller coaster ride that rivals Luna Park. We had a great time, enjoyed the whales and dolphins, were blown away by the photos taken by the pro photographer on the trip, and learned a lot from the well informed commentary delivered by our captain throughout. The big pod of acrobatic dolphins on the way back was a complete bonus. We’ll be back. Glen & Ruth
