Join us for an adventure-filled day canyoning and abseiling in the Empress Canyon. This is one of Blue Mountains' best combinations, you get the best of both worlds. Be ready for lots of water jumps, thrilling swims, water slides, and amazing scenery.
We’ll start at our half-day abseiling location where we’ll enjoy abseiling a 5-metre high cliff and build up to 30-metre high cliffs. This will be a great introduction/warm-up for what’s to come. After, we will enjoy our famous gourmet lunch.
Then, we’ll make our way into the canyon which is a 20-minute scenic walk to the start of Empress Canyon. We’ll then cross into the creek that descends the narrow, slot-like canyon and then we’ll have our first rock pool jump. We’ll have many jumps and swims along the way.
As we make our way out of the canyon, we’ll experience one of the best waterfall abseils in the mountains. We’ll abseil 30-metre of waterfall down to the deep rock pool. This is an incredible photo opportunity.
What to wear & additional clothing notes:
-Wear your swimsuit underneath your clothes, socks and shoes you can get wet upon arrival
-Wear either shorts or light long pants & have a t-shirt on that covers your shoulders and bring a jacket of some description (ideally a fleece top)
-When we get into the canyon, we change into our wetsuits
-At the end of the canyon, we change into dry clothes
-Extra changing clothes should be left back at the office.
