Enjoy a day full of local sights, sand dunes and adventure on this Port Stephens day tour!

Departing Sydney in the early hours of the morning, your day tour of Port Stephens starts with a stop at Anna Bay. At Anna Bay you’ll drive into the sand dunes on a 4WD bus, where you’ll have the option to experience sand boarding, grab a coffee at the nearby café or relax on the beach. Once ready to move on, the tour makes a quick stop at the shops where you can grab some drinks (at own expense) for the bbq, to be kept in the esky box and kept cold for lunch.

Your tour continues aboard a local boat as you head out to Nelson Bay for some dolphin watching, a swim in the boom net, and a chance to take in the stunning ocean views. Dolphin Watching is an optional extra where you can alternatively stay ashore and enjoy the beach, swimming, snorkelling and checking out the nearby shops.

Once you’ve enjoyed dolphin spotting or relaxed on the beach, enjoy a delicious, fresh picnic lunch at the nearby park, mingling and relaxing with everyone. After lunch, your next stop is the beautiful Shoal Bay, where you’ll find a view of the Nelson Bay lighthouse and the monolithic Mount Tomaree in the distance. Relax on the clear blue water and off-white sand beach or take the 30-minute medium walk to the Mount Tomaree lookout for stunning panoramic views. Head back to Shoal Bay Beach or the secluded Zenith Beach to enjoy the last of your tour before heading back to Sydney.

Enjoy a drink at the local bar with everyone that wants to join to finish off a fantastic day exploring Port Stephens!

This tour is fabulous! The tour guides were amazing! They made it fun and interactive for everyone. You got to be active with the sand boarding and hike. But also very relaxing with the dolphin watch and enjoying the beach. I would highly recommend this tour! Stefanie NZ
