  • 9 levels of difficulty perfect for everyone from beginners to experienced climbers

Reach new heights and experience the thrill of bouldering at 9 Degrees, Sydney’s indoor rock climbing gym!

Bouldering is rock climbing stripped down to its raw essentials - leaving behind ropes and harnesses and just using climbing shoes and a bag of chalk over safety mats.

Your challenge is to climb short but tricky bouldering "problems" using balance, technique, strength and your mind!

Our state of the art facility has walls designed by Walltopia, the world’s leading manufacturers of artificial climbing walls.

Everyone can boulder, either alone or with friends. Just drop on by to our gym located in Alexandria, just 5 mins from Sydney Airport and we will get you started right away!

Bouldering is the safest form of indoor climbing; the maximum height of the walls is 'only' 4.5m and the floor is covered with large thick soft mats. And with the caffeine boost from our excellent coffee you are sure to fly up the walls!

No experience or equipment is required and with 140 climbs in 9 degrees of difficulty from entry-level to competition level, there’s something to suit everyone!

Great climbing

Really nice bouldering gym with a great range of problems. Staff were wonderful and friendly and the offer is great value. There's also a gym and showers which is handy.

Didn’t attend

Hi. Our experience was disappointing only because we didn’t attend. I booked it for a surprise for my partner and I to go to. When I told her about it she told me someone had recently died there doing rock climbing and she was too frightened to attend it. I however would love to attend lol and bring some friends with me. Please can you give me a credit? Thank you Adam

Cool activity

Really nice experience, funny and interesting, lot of walls to climb for everyone from beginners to experts. The only bad point, it is written online that you have shower provide after the climbing, when we did the checkin the guy at the reception told us also that we can use the upstairs showers later And then, we finished the climbing we went upstairs and the only shower was locked, we asked an other guy at the reception and he could not help because he did not have the key to unlock.. Downstairs there is just one shower only for girls so my boyfriend could not take a shower, it was really annoying because we planned to go directly after this activity to visit friends. We had to cancel our plan, anyways not a nice end.
