Hunter Valley, Australia’s premier vineyard region, is located a scenic 2 hour drive north of Sydney and provides the perfect backdrop for a very special flight.
Watch your aircraft come to life and get involved in setting up the balloon for a hands on experience and get to know your flight team and ask them any questions you may have.
Feel the anticipation build as you are lifted gently and effortlessly into the air rising to 4,000 feet above the valley floor as you watch the light beam over the spectacular vineyards on this magical sunrise flight.
After your hot air balloon experience you will be treated to over a gourmet a la carte breakfast and champagne celebration at the famous Peterson House winery and Restaurant. The perfect ending to an unforgettable experience.

Perfect morning
Just a wonderful and peaceful experience. Professional and friendly crew. Nice touch with the tea and biscuits to start. Our flight was beautiful, we could see wild kangaroos hopping away in the fields below us, we were surrounded by beautiful vineyards and lush green mountains. Champagne breakfast afterwards was plentiful and delicious. I chose the vegan option which was very tasty and healthy. Highly recommend this experience... What a wonderful way to start your day

Balloon Flight was Cancelled at the last minute
Balloon flight was cancelled due to bad weather condition with rain! Even I had informed my concern on bad weather condition with chances of rain on the previous day of the scheduled date, we had got the confirmation on 16th April that “the weather is looking good for the morning and your flight in the Hunter Valley is proceeding.” We were informed to reach there at Peterson House, on the corner of Broke Road and Wine Country Drive, Pokolbin no later than 5am on 17th April. We reached early in the morning at 4.30 am and got the information from the team that the balloon flight is cancelled due to bad weather condition! We had wasted our money and 5 hours of time by renting a car and travelling from Sydney to Prokolbin and back!
