I purchased 2 tickets via the Bookme website for the both of us & drove across Sydney only to find that the shop was closed. A few minutes after arriving I got a blunt email from Shannon (one of their staff) telling me that they’re closed, they’re open the next day & I need to sort the refund out through Bookme… that’s it… no details on how to do so or any apology. After speaking with the speedy Bookme staff, I found that it’s Sydney Harbour Kayak’s responsibility to update their availabilities on the booking website (which in this case they failed to do). I mean, I’ll (probably) get the money back but the stress it caused from having to reschedule plans was unnecessary. And the lack of service made it even more frustrating. No personal digs, I just think there needs to be an updated, reliable booking system.
