My kids and I didn’t really know what to expect but this experience exceeded all expectations. We were collected and driven to the airstrip, and treated to an amazing flight over the reef, with incredible vistas and by the time we landed, knew it was a highlight of our holiday. Definitely recommend.

It was truly a great experience. 2 hours simply wasn’t enough. Met up with other couples where we danced , laughed and had a memorable time.

We had a great time learning to Sail, meeting new people and enjoyed snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef in two snorkels. The water at Whitehaven is crystal clear and such a beauty. The crew where knowledgeable about the local area and looked after us. The food onboard was tasty. It was good having the option to BYO drinks. We had a trip to remember but we loved it so much we want to go again with friends later in the year.

Nice cruise out friendly staff very relaxing only thing was the complementary wine. They should give a choice of a soft drink for the people that don’t drink wine !

As I'd never been in a kayak before, I was unsure of this experience... but so pleased we gave it a go. The operator was friendly, polite, & very informative. Definitely kayak around to the bay, as this is where we saw the most turtles. Actually saw more turtles here, than we did during our whole 2wk stay in Airlie Beach. If you're keen to see turtles, then this is the place. Maybe we were lucky on this particular day, as there's no guarantees....but definitely worth a try, given it was a cheap couple of hours!

Kayaking around in the Whitsunday aqua waters was magical when we spotted several large turtles rising through the water.

It's been a awesome trip. Really enjoyed my stay at the matador! Nice food and super crew!

With friendly and helpful staff, it was a fun day out taking in the great sights of the Whitsundays and beautiful water while catching some nice fish. Staff prepared the fish so they were ready for the pan that night. Great day out.

We had an amazing private tour as no one else booked the same time. Tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. 100% turtle spotting guarantee! We saw at least 50 in an hours. The boat is really comfortable and our 4 year old twins had an amazing time aswell. I strongly recommend the tour to anyone visiting the area! Thanks again to whisper cruises.

Really enjoyable, peaceful tour in a beautiful clean, newish boat with a great host. We were able to see many turtles not too far from the boat but not many close up probably due to it being a day after record rainfalls. Nevertheless it was a wonderful way to spend an hour in beautiful surroundings and company. Thanks Dale.

Great day out from Airlie Beach to Blue Pearl Bay on Hayman Is - sadly no wind so had to motor out but very scenic, great snorkel with fish and coral and nice lunch on board.

Captain, Kelly and the funny crew are amazing. Sadly a big part of the reef is dead ?, so if you want to see more corals ? ? you have to take a sailing trip and go bit more far. ⛵️

From the moment we were given our suits and jackets( thank God for those)the fun and adventure began. Captain Rahn and 2 wonderful crew, packed our day with thrilling boat rides, incredible snorkelling ( including f beautiful turtle) whales breeching, tale slapping and rolling ( the crew were so excited for us) delicious lunch and relax on Whitehaven and then the final surprise, an opportunity to relax with a cocktail! So professional yet incredibly relaxed. Thank you all for such a special day!

Hands down one of the best days of our lives, couldn’t recommend zig zag more highly. The staff were amazing all day, lunch was delicious and the snorkeling was out of this world. If you haven’t it’s a must to tick off your bucket list.

Unfortunately didn’t get to see many fish while snorkelling but that can’t be avoided. Simon and Amy were super fun, entertaining and knowledgeable. Lunch was WAY better than expected for a tour lunch too. Can only recommend!

I took my 9 year son on the zig zag snorkel and Whitehaven tour. We had the best day. We visited 2 snorkelling locations and saw abundant fish and marine life. We even had a turtle sighting. There was quality snorkel gear and we felt Very safe the entire tour. The crew were super friendly and knowledgeable. We were served Morning tea , lunch and afternoon tea. We had ample time on Whitehaven. As my son exited the boat he told me I had to give it 5 stars that’s how much of impression it made on him. We would definitely recommend this tour

Wonderful day. Started off snorkelling in a sheltered bay with awesome fish and corals, then on to the must see Whitehaven Beach for a tasty lunch, swim and chill out. Finally another boat trip past Hamilton Island to idyllic Long Island for a relaxing cocktail before heading back to Airlie Beach. Ben and K were wonderful, friendly hosts for the day. Awesome day. Book with these guys, I guarantee you will not regret it. Awesome day out and value for money.

We returned to this tour after an amazing trip last year and it didn’t disappoint! A friendly crew who answered all of our questions and gave us plenty of information. The snorkelling was a little disappointing due to the recent king tide and unprecedented rainfall however this was complete out of control of the crew. Whitehaven beach was stunning as was the bush walk to the lookout. The lunch provided was fresh and very tasty with plenty to go around. Myself and my 2 children had a great day so thank you!

As a young couple travelling, we have taken many tours.. and ZigZag was a blast! The crew is awesome fun funny and very informative. As a new company I am impressed how smooth everything runs.. small number tour less than 40 people I think it's great ! I love mot being just a number! We got amazing snorkel spots and we were surrounded by other boats we got to go to 3 different islands of course we got to hit whithaven beach. I think if your going to book you might as well use ZigZag they have the fastest boat that goes to whithaven and it's Soo much fun :).

We had an amazing time touring the Whitsundays with Big Fury. The crew were great, the host was very knowledgeable and ready to crack a joke. The views of Hill Inlet Lookout were breathtaking and made some lovely photos. Whitehaven Beach was like paradise. It was our first time snorkeling and didn't know what to expect but the crew made sure we felt safe. The coral was colourful and there were plenty of fish. The lunch was excellent! The food was fresh with lots of choice. My wife is intolerant to gluten but this was no problem at all, there was plenty of fresh salads and cooked meat and it's been the best lunch we've had whilst on a tour.

We had the best day out on the water with Wazza and Tina! Learnt lots about the surrounding islands, Tina let us know average cost to stay at the different islands which was helpful. Wazza pointed out lots of turtles and was very entertaining. Lunch at Whitehaven was exceptionally delicious, potato salad was to die for (would love the recipe...) The reef was beautiful and we saw so many fish! Highly recommend Big Fury, this was my second trip to the reef with them, my first being in 2014.

The tour the boys have put together is fantastic! Such friendly guys who went above and beyond to make sure our experience was a great one. From offering extra assistance to get on and off the boat, to telling us local stories of their experiences and about the islands. Be prepared for the walk up to the hill inlet on a humid day, it’s a bit of a struggle so when they say take water, Take Water! The views are breathtaking and worth the walk! The snorkel experience was amazing, as a first timer it was amazing swimming amongst the fish and coral reefs, so Beautiful! Lastly the time we got to spend at Whitehaven beach to have lunch was very relaxing and a great spot to take in the beautiful sand and views, plus have a swim. 10/10 tour, thank you Big Fury Team!

AAA1 rating for last Sunday the 1/10/17!! We were a party of 11 ranging in age from 18 to 50+, we ALL throughly enjoyed the Whitsunday experience the Zig Zag crew gave us. From the checking in, their safety, the fitting of the wet suits & leaving on time. We had a full boat of 35 on the day, the 3 boys made sure they came around constantly pointing out their local knowledge. Morning tea, lunch & afternoon tea was fresh & plenty to go around. We loved the fact the skipper Taz took us to shore in our boat & we even did a bush walk at Whitehaven with Craig too. Overall this has been the best day trip we have done & the cheapest in the last 5 years! PLEASE SUPPORT THE CREW OF ZIG ZAG.

Had the best time with Will-I-am as our tour host, funniest guy who cares a great deal about you having an awesome time, put us in the best spot on the boat and made sure it was full of laughter. We got to see humpback whales seems it's the season for them and stopped at some beautiful snorkelling spots. Would definitely recommend the zig-zag for the experience I had. ☺

Had an absolutely wonderful day out. Spent a good amount of time at each of the three stops, long enough to enjoy them. Food provided was very yummy, and equipment was all in good condition. Crew were informative and funny. Great value for money, highly recommend!

We booked last minute (the night before) and everything was great. We were on the list and email came early in the morning. Our main guide was Kay. She and the crew were fantastic. Unfortunately due to visibility of the water we couldn’t snorkel as we would have seen nothing. But the tour still was amazing. After cruising along the water in a fast boat, we first stopped and did the lookout walk. After that we hopped back onto the boat to go to Whitehaven Beach were we had a healthy meal and a great time swimming in the water. We then headed out to our next destination for a nice drink at Palm Beach Resort’s bar. Great looking resort. Great for all the family. I just had such a great time. Great way to see the island. If you can only do one thing in the Whitsundays - do the all day tour! Fantastic day out on the water and you get to enjoy the cool water on a hot day.

This tour made my holiday here at Airle Beach. Everything from the staff, the boat, the tour route, the snorkelling, the lunch, it was all top class. The team really made it the most enjoyable experience, especially Will, who had us laughing non stop through out the day.

We had a great day out! The crew were friendly and knowledgeable, excellent music was played on the boat and the food was delicious. I have been on many one-day trips to the reef (about ten times over the last 20 years), so I thought I’d try a new company and one I hadn’t been on before. I need a fast boat, as my sons and I get motion sickness. This trip is more for adrenaline types, as it can get rough and bouncy on the water. It is like a roller coaster - my bad back is aggravated today from the boat slamming on the water, so that is my only negative. But I’m old lol. Ben and the Ladies were utterly professional, fun, kind, polite and knowledgeable. Even though I have been out on the reef many times, I was actually taken to two places I had never been! Snorkeling at “Sol Bay’ and ‘Palm Bay Resort’ on Long Island. My two teenage sons absolutely loved every minute. The amount of time at each place was perfect and you get out to Whitehaven FAST. (45 mins). The stinger suits and snorkeling gear is the best quality I’ve ever been provided with on my trips to the reef. Personally I prefer a barbecue lunch with hot food, but the wraps, rolls, cold meat and salad were delicious. (The potato salad was divine) Plenty of cold water on offer but no toilet on board and no food or drinks on board the boat as it’s too rough. No liquor served (hence the stop off on Long Island -bring cash) and I probably would have liked to be able to buy a soft drink to have with my lunch. Bring potato chips as the snorkelling makes kids hungry!! All-in-all, a very good value day out, especially with kids or teens or the adrenaline-seekers who want to get out yo the reef the fastest! Well done Zig-Zag!!
