Very Worthwhile Short Tour

We had a lovely experience out on the water with Dale. He was great to talk to and with only a max of 8 people on the boat it is a very pleasant experience touring the waterways of the marina and over to turtle bay. You do need to keep your eyes open, and the turtles can be there and gone very quickly so may be hard for little ones but the whole experience is very relaxing and definitely worth doing. A shame his experience and record keeping is not being used by the qld government and Uni’s to study the turtle numbers and habits.

To slow to see them

We seen maybe a handful of turtles but you had to be quick otherwise you miss them. Kids weren’t quick enough to see them. Disappointed to be honest. Seen more turtles when we went whale watching than this tour.

Turtle time

A wonderful experience with Dale the skipper . Spotting turtles , learning about them and the coastal area of Airlie Beach . Highly recommended for a relaxing boat ride , a different view of the local area.
