Join Go West on their Phillip Island Penguin Parade Tour ex Melbourne and be sure to get you acquainted with the cutest little penguins in Australia...
This isn't just about the Penguin though - this is also a full wildlife experience. After being picked up from your accommodation in inner Melbourne we'll head to the iconic Brighton Beach bathing boxes where you will have the opportunity to visit the beach and admire it's historic landmarks.
Next we head to the award-winning Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park for a guided wildlife walk and the opportunity to hand-feed many species of native Australian animals such as kangaroos, koalas, emus & wallabies, quolls, owls, bandicoots & Tasmanian devils!
You will also experience the spectacular 'Conservation in Action' wildlife show, which showcases a number of lesser-known Australian species.
At Point Grant and The Nobbies you'll enjoy lovely views over Westernport Bay and Bass Strait, including Seal Rocks, home to Australia’s largest population of fur seals.
The highlight of the day is just after dark when the world’s smallest penguins parade ashore after spending the day fishing out at sea. You’ll be truly enchanted as the stars of the show make their way up the beach to the dunes right before your eyes. Your tour guide will ensure you are able to get the very best viewing point to enjoy the Penguin Parade
The number of birds does vary on the beach throughout the year due to seasonal factors. The penguin’s year is divided into four different seasons:
Pickups are between: 11am-12 noon (Apr-Oct) and 12 noon-1pm (Nov-March)
Return to Melbourne approx: 9pm-Midnight (Seasonal)
