Get up close and personal with a host of Aussie wildlife, see the fantastic coastline of Phillip Island and then witness one of Australia’s most spectacular wildlife experiences as hundreds of the world’s tinniest penguins waddle ashore!
Jump on board a tour to Phillip Island and get up close and personal with an array of Aussie wildlife! Check out the awesome coastline of Phillip Island and then witness one of Australia’s most spectacular wildlife experiences as hundreds of the world’s smallest penguins waddle ashore. You’ll also get to hand-feed kangaroos, get up close to koalas and spot Fur Seals on the rugged rocky coastline of the Victorian Island
We escape the concrete jungle of Melbourne and begin our day at a wildlife park where you will have the pleasure of meeting some furry Australian favourites. We will also stop here and have lunch (own expense).
We move on to tour the length of Phillip Island, known for its sandy beaches, rugged cliffs and unique wildlife experiences. Be awed by the giant surf at Woolamai beach and rugged coastline of Cape Woolamai as we stop to enjoy some afternoon tea. During the summer months, we take this opportunity to cool off with a visit to the beach. Alternatively, in poor weather conditions, we include a quick stop to Panny’s Chocolate Factory - Factory tour is optional and at own expense
At the Western tip of the island there is a majestic rocky coast, home to a colony of fur seals. We wander along the boardwalk checking penguin burrows for life and then we're on to the penguin parade. Check out the award-winning Visitors Centre and as the sun drops, witness the world`s littlest penguins emerge from the sea and waddle ashore. This is a truly magical experience.

Hi Ann Marie, Thank you so much for your feedback on our Phillip Island and Penguin Parade Day Tour. We're glad to hear you found it great value for money and that you got to experience a true 'Aussie' encounter with a kangaroo. Duane will be more than happy to hear that you had a wonderful time with him on the tour and surely appreciative of your compliments. We hope to see you in future to join us on our other fabulous tours. All the best Kind regards Kathryn Reservations
Hi Sara, and thank you for your lovely review! Awesome to hear you enjoyed your day at the Penquin Parade and Koala highlights tour! We will let Simon know your kind words and hope to see you again on our other tours :)
Hi Nicola, and thank you for taking the time to write us a review! We are glad to hear you enjoyed your day with us!
Hi Gopal, thank you for your review! We hope you too enjoyed seeing the Penguins at the Phillip Island and all the Australian Wildlife at Maru!
Hi Danu, thank you for taking the time to write us a review. We are sorry to hear you did enjoy the day. This tour does indeed not include any meals. You can purchase your own meals on the way or bring some with you to enjoy through out the day. The chocolate factory visit has been a kind extra stop from our tour guide as it is not included in the itinerary. We are sorry to hear you did not appreciate the wildlife encounter. For some travellers this is the first time they get to see Australian wildlife and is an exciting stop for many. You can indeed see the penguins also in St Kilda, however the Phillip Island has the biggest colony in the entire Australia and you will be able to see them in larger numbers and more close up. We hope you will have other lovely experiences in Australia, despite this one not being the one of your taste! Kind regards, Autopia Tours

Share LinkAmazing tour with great guide!
I had an amazing time on this tour. I was a bit nervous spending money due to being a backpacker but I decided to do it anyway. Wow! Duane (our tour guide) was super friendly and personable. He always found some time to talk to each guest and get to know them even if it was just for a minute. Also, I fed and pet a kangaroo! The penguin parade was cute but all the other stops and our guide really made it worth it! The only thing I regret was not having a bit of cash to tip Duane at the end of the night.
