Take a journey along Great Ocean Road, with stops along the way to see Australian wildlife, visit breathtaking beaches and enjoy a guided walk through the ancient rainforest!
We head out of Melbourne early, passing through Anglesea before stopping for morning tea at a nearby location. We follow the twists and turns of the breathtaking Great Ocean Road enjoying spectacular coastal photo opportunities. We will stop off to see some cuddly koalas in the wild, before travelling to Apollo Bay for lunch (at your own expense).
Next, we'll explore the Otway National Park, taking a walk through the ancient temperate rainforest and admiring some of the world’s tallest trees. We head through rolling hills towards Port Campbell National Park and the awe-inspiring 12 Apostles. Listen to tragic tales about the shipwreck coast and view remarkable rock formations at Loch Ard Gorge. After this full-on adventure, you can relax as we make our way back to Melbourne, stopping off in the township of Colac for dinner (at your own expense).

Great ocean road
Für den Preis kann man sich nicht beschweren. Wir waren im rainforest, bei den 12 Apostels und noch einem view Point dessen Namen ich nicht mehr weiß. Wir haben sehr oft gestoppt und waren erst gegen 16:15 Uhr bei den 12 Apostels, wo es zu der Zeit überfüllt war mit Touristen. Fotos machen war schwer und genießen konnte man es auch nicht mehr. Ich habe bei einer Tour die schon um 7 Uhr morgens anfängt etwas mehr erwartet. Ich würde definitiv die Tour empfehlen wenn man kein Problem damit hat mit überfüllten Masse sich die 12 Apostels anzuschauen aber ich selbst würde die Tour nicht nochmal machen. Mittagessen war auch sehr lecker lecker..

Sehr netter, kompetenter Guide. Bus und Ausstattung gut und bequem. Jedoch von den Erlebnissen her nicht so spannend wie erwartet. Überall sind sehr viele Menschen... Der kleine Spaziergang durch den "Regenwald" ist nett, aber mit 25 Minuten auch nicht spektakulär, oder besonders beeindruckend. Der Küstenabschnitt ist toll, wenn man so was noch nie gesehen hat. Wer jedoch die europäische Atlantikküste schon mal besucht hat (z.B. Portugal), oder "Big sur" in Kaliformien, wird vermutlich nicht "vom Hocker" gehauen.

For anyone looking to avoid the crowds, we do offer a great alternative, Reverse Great Ocean Road, that visits all the same sites but avoids the big crowds of the afternoon rush! Rundum ein toller Tag
Die Tour war einfach spitze! Besonders unser tourguide Rob war einfach toll! Er hat mit seinem wissen geglänzt und man hat gemerkt dass er seinen Job gerne macht! Mir ist bei den ganzen Kurven etwas übel geworden weshalb ich dann von hinten nach ganz vorne im bus gewechselt habe. Die Aussicht war einfach der Hammer! Auch das Frühstück und Mittagessen super. Von Pizza über Burger und Fisch and chips. Es war nicht so optimales Wetter und ein Mittwoch weshalb zum Glück nicht so viele Leute da waren! Die Erlebnisse waren ja trotzdem die gleichen. Der Bus war etwas alt, aber okay. Definitiv eine empfehlenswerte Tour? *-*

Tolle Tour
Die Tour war sehr schön. Man hat viele interessante Orte gesehen und viel über Australien, die Tierwelt, sowie die Einwohner und über die Geschichte des Landes erfahren. Leider konnte man an jedem Ort nicht allzu lange bleiben, aber ansonsten wäre die Tour an einem Tag ja auch nicht machbar gewesen.
