As we depart from Great Ocean Road Airport and soar through the sky, you’ll feel the soothing breeze on your face and experience true flying freedom! You’ll be in voice contact with your local experienced pilot who will point out all the landmarks along the way.
From your seat at the front of the plane, you’ll have uninterrupted views of the 12 Apostles, London Bridge and the entire Shipwreck Coast that you could never experience from the road. From sparkling turquoise waters to vibrant orange cliffs - it’s just you and the mesmerizing scenery a few feet below. Our zippy red biplane can whizz along at 150km/h giving you an overall exhilarating and spectacular experience!
To top off our morning, enjoy a lunch break (at your own expense) in the enchanting Timboon – the foodie capital of the Otways! It’s famous for its Cheesery, Distillery and is home of the best locally produced ice cream in the country. What a way to finish the day!
Location: Great Ocean Road Airport, Peterborough. Approx. 3-hour drive from Melbourne CBD. You will need to make your own way to the location.

Awesome way to experience the 12 Apostles
Our pilot was awesome. The flight was very smooth, from landing to take off. It could be a bit squishy for some, so be prepared for that. I had an XL jacket on and would've been more comfortable in the jacket I had in, so we fit in better. The pilot (sorry, I forgot your name!) was so accommodating. There is no toilet at the airport, so I had to go into the next town and he was happy to wait. When we got strapped in, my battery went flat. He was happy for my partner to run to the car to get the other one. How embarrassing. But he was fine. I really enjoyed the flight and being able to share that as a couple. What a special way to see the 12 Apostles. :) Thanks, would definitely recommend this!

A fantastic experience!
Imagine soaring over the Twelve Apostles in an open cockpit biplane, seeing these natural wonders from a clear blue sky, watching the waves crash against the rocks as you fly serenely past... Then go do exactly that! We had a marvelous time. Kudos to our pilot Tom for making it seem effortless, even on a windy day. It was a blast.

The best way to see the 12 apostles. Fantastic views and great fun, pilot was very informative. Highly recommend.

Great ocean road petersborough amazing
We chose the open cockpit instead of a helicopter ride and can say it was one of the best experiences of my life. Our pilot was friendly funny and made the experience worthwhile. We upgraded to include bay if the islands. Stunning, even better outlook than 12 apostles Flying over the green countryside was also spectacular!. Well worth every cent spent on this.
