ameenh said... I opted for this transfer-only option mainly because I have a very specific diet so I didn't need the lunch. I was always planning to hire the snorkelling gear, but there was lack of information on how to do that. I felt very confused the whole trip, as I wasn't clear when I was part of the group and when I was not. I think everyone else in the group was on the full tour. There also wasn't that much to see off the beach, so I asked to be on the snorkelling safari for $30. Which is great, but I wish they really asked how I would be comfortable snorkelling. Basically I was just asked to dive in while I preferred to have a floatie at all times. I struggled and couldn't fully enjoy the experience. Staff were nice though. Although I think they might need some more work on the balance between entertaining, efficiency and professionalism. Briefing was very hard to hear as the audio wasn't great, it wasn't pre-recorded like one on Fitzroy Island. Also the trip took more than 30 minutes and they were not punctual which ruined my schedule for the rest of the day. Better off getting the full tour if you don't want to treated like a second-class citizen.
