Amazing

It was amazing with a beautiful day, we have seen snake, crocodile, cassowari(in the car) and we feed some wallabies before the lunch. We went to some beautiful spot. I recommend 100%. And the guide was really nice, the food was really good with a beautiful view. Thank you

Daintree and cape tribulation

This was an informative trip out guide Alfred was very knowledgeable. However the trip was not as advertised no morning or afternoon tea there were suppose to be 2 exhibits to view which we never seen. Lunch was not what was advertised but it was good anyway. Overall the trip was good but some confusion over bookings which wS only rectified after we chased it up.

They don't deliver what is on the brochure

We were supposed to be picked up at 7 but only got pick up at 7:27. Around 9:30 we arrived at the cruise place We enquired about the morning tea because we were starting to get hungry (we all woke up really early to be available at 7am at the pick up point) and the driver said there was no morning tea. Different people enquire about it and he just said no, we don't do it anymore. We were at the gift shop waiting to hop on the boat for about 15 minutes and out of nowhere the driver asks us to go back in the bus. Apparently we lost the cruise time, no explanations whatsoever. We hopped in the bus and lots more of driving, the ferry is just a 5 minutes that you can't even get out of the bus. We stopped for 10 minutes on the Alexandra lookout. Around 11:30 we got to Cape Tribulation, 30 minutes free time. Nice place. No guided walk, no explanations. Lunch time, we had to choose a different meal from the menu between wraps and burgers which is a huge difference from the rib fillet or the barramundi from the brochure. But we all ate it, we were starving at 12:30pm without morning tea and no stops to eat even with our own money. When I and other people from the group enquired about the rib fillet and barramundi the driver said it changed and when I said it was a huge difference he said not really. We showed our bookings and he said they changed it. We said, ok. But we bought a different thing than what we are getting and he said he only works for the company. After lunch we stopped at the ice cream factory ,which looked good but it was cash only or you needed to pay $5 at the atm to withdraw. So I didn't have the ice cream there. We went back to the bus and to the crocodile cruise place. We waited for a few minutes and apparently there was no space for us and we drove to another cruise company. Apparently they do not book us on the cruise before we get there. The cruise was good, we spotted a few crocodiles. Just under an hour. No afternoon tea provided. We had a black coffee at the cruise gift shop and that was it. No guided walk through Daintree Forest. More driving to Port Douglas, 10 minutes stop to go to the toilet and take a photo of the beach. Run back to the bus. And there was one more stop at a lookout to take photos for less than 5 minutes. I got home exhausted and feeling sore from spending most of the day in the bus. Really not happy at the end!

Pregnant and abandoned!

If you want a professional, caring company please book elsewhere. I had been so looking forward to this trip. I’m 22 weeks pregnant (which I was told would not be a problem) and on the morning of the trip I was not feeling very well. I called the company and tried to reschedule but they were not helpful with rescheduling and pressured me into attending the trip. The bus driver was aware that I was feeling unwell and he still drove very fast on the extremely windy road, whilst making jokes about people frequently being motion sick on the road. After about 20 minutes I was vomiting. When we arrived in Port Douglas I got off the bus and did not think I could keep going. I had hoped the bus driver would assist me by informing me of travel options back to my accomodation or atleast give me a sick bag. He did not even have sick bags or any other supplies and drove off without offering me any assistance at all, leaving me pregnant, lying on the side of the road. After a minute I realised my key was still in the bus and after contacting the bus that would have only been a few minutes away he told me he could not turn back. I found out from other travellers that at the end of that trip they were returned to their accomodation and hour and a half early and it was a very disappointing trip, yet the bus driver could not drive a few minutes back and return my key. After contacting the company and inquiring about a refund, they informed me that it was not policy to refund my money, so after informing them I was unwell and being pressured into going on the trip and then being abandoned on the side of the road and I am also out a large sum of money. I cannot express my enough how poorly the company treated me, so please book your trip elsewhere if you want a good experience.
