I wrongly assumed ( my fault entirely ) it would be convenient to down town ie on the Esplanade . Our flight was delayed so we took a taxi to the hotel, dropped the bags and caught an Uber which was a 15 minute drive and $30 fare ( one way ) so it turned my idea of a cheap little fun time filler into an expensive afternoon. There is also wake boarding etc at the same location which looked like lots of fun but the children (11 and 13 years ) had fun on the floating challenges at the Aqua Park. The jackets etc all seemed in good condition and safe and the young man in attendance was friendly and helpful. We have been to a few water parks of this type before ( gold and sunshine coast Queensland ) and that was my expectation, therefore I was disappointed. Not as many challenges and the location leaves them with just 3 stars from me.
