Discover world heritage Kuranda Rainforest on an epic adventure that not only includes lush scenery and amazing wildlife but a host of action-packed activities too!
You'll experience some of Australia's most spectacular scenery on the Kuranda Scenic Railway as we wind past waterfalls and gorges, then get ready for the Rainforestation Nature Park where you can explore the rainforest on land in a World War 2 Army Duck.
Wildlife lovers will love seeing koalas, Tasmanian Devils, crocodiles, the endangered Lumholtz’s Tree Kangaroo, wallabies and more with a visit to the Koala & Wildlife Park and then you'll get a taste of the indigenous history on the award-winning Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience. You'll be enthralled by a range of customary activities which include spear and boomerang throwing, a didgeridoo playing presentation, and a traditional dance performance.
Once you have filled your morning with adventure, take the shuttle from Rainforestation Nature Park to Kuranda Village to spend your time exploring the wonderful markets, cafes and experiences of the renowned rainforest village.
Lastly, meet at Kuranda Railway Station to take the scenic railway back to Cairns! This is a wonderful scenic railway experience through the rainforest and down the Kuranda range. Meet the driver guide at Cairns Railway Station at 5.15pm for a coach transfer back to your accomodation.

Itinerary
- 8.40am - Coach pick up from your Cairns accomodation and head to Rainforestation Nature Park
- 9.15am - Arrive at Rainforestation Nature Park and meet the team who will help you plan your morning at the park
- 12-2pm - Take one of the scheduled shuttle buses to Kuranda Village
- 3.15pm - Meet at Kuranda Railway Station in Kuranda Village to take the 3.30pm train back to Cairns Railway Station. This journey takes 1 3/4 hours, do not depart the train at Freshwater Station.
- 5.15pm - Meet the coach for transport form Cairns Railway Station back to your Cairns accomodation
