Join the crew aboard AquaQuest for a day to remember on the Great Barrier Reef! We depart Port Douglas and take a beautiful journey to the outer reef on our brand new luxury vessel.
Our brand new vessel is fully equipped with the latest state of the art facilities. We ensure unrivalled comfort and safety as we visit some of the most vibrant reef sites at Agincourt, St. Crispin and Opal Reef. These unique sites offer superb coral formations and an abundance of marine life, where passengers have the opportunity to swim amongst the underwater locals, including inquisitive Nemo’s, Turtles, Stringrays and many friendly Maori Wrasse.
After checking in at 8am we take an 80 minute cruise to one of our exclusive moorings. We will visit 2 sites, choosing them our many exclusive moorings based on the conditions on the day.
The reef is just a few meters from the surface of the water so you can easily view when snorkelling. If you choose to upgrade to a scuba dive, the crew will happily assist you with either introductory or certified diving - there is the option to take up to 3 dives on the day!

That is wonderful Marc, thank you for the great 5 star review. We just had our 1st birthday so yes our vessel is very very new! We know how important it is to dive and snorkel with the right equipment so we upgrade our gear on a regular basis. We love our crew too, it does make the day so much nicer when everyone is happy! Hopefully we have the chance to see you again on the Great Barrier Reef.
Hello Hanna, thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. It is the peak season at the moment for Port Douglas with the weather being so lovely at this time of year. This will carry right through to November. We are also seeing lots of whales out there which is a wonderful experience for people. They are usually here until late October. Smoking is prohibited on all vessels for safety reasons and for the comfort of other patrons. We do group people together and advise them of who their guide will be for the dives, we do hope people are able to familiarise themselves with this person so they are aware of who to follow when the in water sessions are ready to begin. Going to 2 locations during the day chosen by the skipper to make the sessions as comfortable for everyone as possible. This also makes things less rushed and more relaxed for people to prepare for each in water session. It is unfortunate that we did not meet your expectations for the day but, it is great to hear your friend had a great time on the 2nd session. We hope you give us another opportunity in the future to make your experience on the Great Barrier Reef a nice one.
