Natural Adventure Day Tour

Come along on a full day Cairns outdoors adventure at the local secret spots, without spending the whole day in a bus!

Your day includes:

• Intro Abseiling
• Creek cruising tubing
• Wet and wild rainforest rock pools swimming & trek

Your day starts with a pick up from Cairns CBD (or possibly your accommodation by pre booking) and start the day with an adrenaline pumping introduction to abseiling! You can expect hair-raising decent with professional a guide, all while taking in special views of the region. We have multiple sites to choose from and select the best site for the conditions on the day

Next up we head to a secret fresh water stream only a short drive away to cool off & relax on a river tube and drift peacefully under a beautiful section of the rainforest canopy. This section is not scary & you can stand up most of the way. A small adventure playground is also available for kids if desired. Take your time and we have an optional stop off at a Café near by before a 10 minute drive to the next adventures.

Now it’s Wet & Wild time – we pack up and take a bush walk to see the many spectacular natural rock pools and small waterfalls at our favorite local spots. Enjoy the high quality rainforest experience + swimming and relaxing in the cascading pools, all under the shade of the beautiful Wet Tropics World Heritage Rainforest.

Any bookings within 24 hours can only be “requested” in the first instance as the actual tour date & time has to be confirmed as available by the operator

Due to fluctuations in water levels during the annual “Dry Season” in Tropical Australia, the Creek Cruising tours may have to be changed to our Wet & Wild tour ie: we will transfer to another nearby rainforest creek (only 5 minutes away) that has more stable year round water levels

 

Departures approx. 10am pick up – Pre booking required; from the bus stops outside Gilligans or Esplanade Lagoon (outside Rattle n Hum) or bookings can nominate pick up direct from their accommodation (subject to CAP mgt confirmation after)

Returns: appox 3:30pm Extra Welcome To Cairns options available by appointment.
