We got really close to the whales and saw some really interesting behaviour (as shown by our tour guide's face in the picture). You really feel close to the whales in such a small boat, but if you were wanting a relaxing meal and things maybe pick one of the bigger boats.
Hervey bay humpbacks

Up close and personal experience with the Hervey bay humpback whales. A truly memorable and educational trip, well worth it. With very knowledgeable and friendly staff on board. I loved that they offered us refreshments during the trip that was a really nice touch.

Whale Watching a Must-Do in Hervey Bay

I had been whale watching many years ago and whilst road tripping checked out Book Me for deals to take my husband and son out onto the bay. Hervey Bay is a fantastic place to see the whales. There were plenty of whales with calves by their side - this just made it all extra special. We went in the afternoon and the water was a little choppy, which seemed to make the whales more active. Breach after breach - it was spectacular. The Whalesong Cruises team were great and really looked after us bringing out lunch directly to us, so that we could keep watching on. The best thing about the afternoon cruise was that we captured the sun setting as we headed back to the marina. My husband had never been whale watching and thought it was a not to be missed experience.

What an experience! I got to swim within a couple of metres of a huge humpback whale. The crew were fantastic & were always checking how they could help. Having low numbers on board made it all that much more personal. We will be back.

The weather was not perfect, but they warned everyone brfore leaving in case they decided against going. The crew knew so much about the whales and we saw some amazing whale behaviours. Truly wonderful.
Amazing Tour!!

I did the 2 day 1 night tag along tour and had an amazing experience. Our tour guide Scott was full of knowledge, and made the trip really fun and exciting. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the most fun possible. The food and accommodation were really good. The trip was action packed but still ran really smoothly. Would definitely recommend this tour!!- and super good value on bookme.
