Great cruise

Our 3rd whale watching cruise in Hervey Bay, 1st time in Whale Song. Crew couldn’t have been nicer with very friendly service who actually walked around serving food rather than having to line up like other cruises, allowing us to continue to watch whales. Will be back for sure!

What a beautiful experience!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the whale watching tour with Whalsongs. The crew was very knowledgeable and friendly! They made sure we had the best time and explained a lot about the whales. I think it’s great that Whalesongs really cares about the wellbeing of the whales and to not disturb their natural behavior. As the whales got really interested in our boat though, we saw them super close and even had some dolphins join!! We can only recommend this tour to anyone, a must do in Hervey Bay and for sure a lifetime experience!

Whale Watching a Must-Do in Hervey Bay

I had been whale watching many years ago and whilst road tripping checked out Book Me for deals to take my husband and son out onto the bay. Hervey Bay is a fantastic place to see the whales. There were plenty of whales with calves by their side - this just made it all extra special. We went in the afternoon and the water was a little choppy, which seemed to make the whales more active. Breach after breach - it was spectacular. The Whalesong Cruises team were great and really looked after us bringing out lunch directly to us, so that we could keep watching on. The best thing about the afternoon cruise was that we captured the sun setting as we headed back to the marina. My husband had never been whale watching and thought it was a not to be missed experience.
