A fantastic trip. Very informative. As well as spotting and pointing out crocodiles(saw 3 - 2 female and a juvenile) a lot of other bid life also spotted and pointed out. Would definitely recommend this trip

We loved this tour up and down the river, Bruce has so much knowledge about the area and species. We saw three adult crocodiles and a juvenile plus lots of birds. Well worth doing whilst in this area.

We went on the river cruise and had Bruce as our tour guide and it was the best day we seen many of crocs and he found all the big ones along the river bank. He was very knowledgeable about the area we seen lots of other wild life along the river banks and in the trees I would recommend this as a must do it’s very worth your while and the team are very friendly with great service.

Loved it!! Really friendly company, I had to change our date and there was no issue at all. Then on the new date we arrived an hour early and instead of us having to wait around, they booked us on the earlier tour. Nothing was a bother to them. Of course the best part was that we actually got to see lots of crocodiles on the tour, it was a really fun morning. Our guide was great

My husband and I went on this cruise yesterday. We saw lots of crocs including the alpha male in the area Scar Face. The driver was knowledgeable of the Daintree River. It was raining in parts and he even drive into an estuary to protect us from the rain to save having to put down plastic blinds which would obscure our views. Our lunchtime cruise even cane with a pie and a drink. Bruce lives by the river and it is a family business. Highly recommended.

Forget going to zoos take this tour and see wildlife as it should be in the natural environment. Our guide/skipper was very friendly and you could tell really cares about the Daintree and its varied inhabitants. We saw snakes and birds and were lucky to see croc hatchlings before coming across the bigger crocs. Our guide took a little extra time to make sure we saw a second croc as the tide was high and they were hard to find. Highly recommend this tour.

I found the trip with Trek North very good, after reading a lot of reviews I was a bit not sure what to expect but if you look at the dates the negative ones are a couple of years ago so please check all reviews not just the ones that show up first. I found the whole tour great, food was good and big serves (too much for me) Alfred the driver/guide extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The only hiccup was the driver being given wrong hotel name which was not his fault, as there is 2 hotels with similar names although I did submit correct address, an oversight by somebody else. All in all a long day but well worth it.

The tour was excellent and very well organised. It even included a cruise where we saw 8 crocodiles! Mario, the guide, was very passionate about the rainforest trees, he explained a lot of interesting things about them. We had a delicious lunch and We were picked up and dropped on time, perfect day.

The commentary was great and we spotted lots of wildlife with the help of our guide and quality binoculars. Most enjoyable and value for money especially with bookme deal

The guide was very knowledgeable and we were pleased to see a few crocs out on the river banks in the early afternoon.

We had the best experience we could ever dream of. Bruce was both very friendly and happy to share his knowledge about the wildlife and crocodiles. We spent a really good time 🤩 PS : he has a really cute dog who is part of the crew !

Great value and very exciting

Our 'Skipper' Jon spent time insuring all people on the boat had ample opportunity to both view and photograph wildlife found. We saw 6 crocodiles, a frog and several species of birds!! Lots of great information given on the river, wildlife and plant life. Very enjoyable!

Great 1 hour boat trip. Super value for the money. We saw 8 crocs in total. 5 adults, 2 younglins and even 1 hatcheling. Not bigger than your hand. The Skipper had super eyes. We saw two snakes as well.

Bruce and his wife are very helpful and friendly. Showed us around the shop and gave us clear directions as to how everything was going to be taking place. The toilets at the office were very clean and the coffee is good too. On the boat itself, the ride was pleasant and Bruce does give you tons of knowledge about the area, crocs etc. unfortunately only got to see one croc on the trip. Would much rather recommend going during winter season or September (mating time)

We were the only 2 on the boat so was a great experience! Got a beer and snacks included, and saw 7 crocs whilst Bruce told us all about them and the area.

Was a great morning out, the guide has an amazing eye and we saw 4 crocs out on the water. The man can also absolutely drive a boat, was lots of fun. We saw more the crocodiles with the river filled with various wildlife. Definitely worth a visit.

Amazing afternoon out on the Daintree River! Guided by Ray (and Skipper Duke, the dog) we were able to spot heaps of crocodiles, - massive 5m big boy all the way to a 15cm baby! - some frogs and even a green tree snake. Ray was as hilarious as he was informative; telling us all about the local crocs, mangroves and the river with a colourful commentary that had us all laughing. The boat is also licensed and the shop in which reception is location sells beers and wines (and pies). Our tour also came with a free slushie, tea, or coffee - we went for slushies and they were delicious! Thanks so much Ray and the whole Bruce Belcher's team for making our trip to the Daintree so special!

Cannot praise these guys enough, they were very informative, knowledgable and witty. We loved every minute of the cruise and will definitely be going again next time we come up!

Friendly & welcome reception, free slushie or coffee on arrival or departure, easy parking, quick reply to email regarding booking confirmation, browsed gift shop while we waited and there were toilet facilities. Saw 3 croc sightings and 2 baby ones. Very relaxing cruise. Boat was big enough that we could get up and walk left or right depending on the croc sighting for better viewing

Absolutely worth a visit

A must do!! Bruce and the skippers were all amazing! So friendly and knowledgeable, our skipper spotted even the smallest of crocs, aswell as finding us some big ones. Was so beautiful put on the river and everyone had an amazing time, including our 2 year old. Everyone got slushies on our return. Cant reccomend Bruce's river cruises enough. Thanks for the great morning!!

Nice tour. It is not crocodile season but we saw 3 of them (1 adult and two babies). Explanations were clear. Do it, it is a nice way to discover the area.

This was a great tour - Bruce was very personable and knowledgeable - exceeded our expectations. We saw 8 crocs from 30cm hatchlings to a 4.5m dominant male - best to do tour when low tide as crocs bask in sun in river banks. Also saw a green treet frog and lots of birdlife.

Despite flood conditions and heavy rain at the time of our trip we still saw Crocs, this crew know exactly where and when to see the crocs even in the testing conditions that we faced on our trip and despite this we saw 3 nice crocodiles that day

We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise and even though the conditions were going to be tricky (high tide/hot weather etc), we managed to spot a 5 metre crocodile (Scarface). Our guide was really friendly and knowledgeable and did a great job!

Good. saw 3 large crocs and one baby. The guide goes out of his way to find crocs and points out birds and other points of interest. Because it started to rain the guide was concerned his next tour might miss out on seeing crocodiles. Good experience.

The experience was really awesome, we spottee 2 baby crocs and one big female. Definitely worth it. On the boat you feel like in the middle of Amazon Rainforrest or something. Really cool.

Had a great time cruising the river and seeing native wildlife and crocodiles in their natural habitat. Plenty of opportunities to take photos and get close enough to observe the crocs. Bruce was friendly, entertaining and informative. We loved it and it’s a must see while visiting the Cairns Region!!
