Great day out very good service and information given by the driver

Awesome trip with beautiful scenery and our tour guide Jo was fantastic. The cruise on the Daintree river and the lunch break on the creek in the forest (don't forget your swimmers) are the highlights.

A well organised trip to the wilderness of Far North Australia. We were amazed at the extent and beauty of the rain forest and we enjoyed Giuseppe's commentary along the journey. His venue for lunch and the BBQ fish were just what we needed beside the cool waters of the stream, way out in the jungle. It was good to be in a group with banter, rather than by ourselves getting lost in the Daintree. We would certainly recommend this trip to all Viking Cains and surrounds.

Wonderful day with a knowledgable driver who provided a lot of information about so many things in the rainforest and about the area. I learned a lot and also loved the breathtaking views from the lookouts and at Cape Tribulation. By far, the best part was the river cruise. Was so excited to see so many crocs sunning themselves on the banks. Crikey mate, it was cool.

The tour was excellent and very well organised. It even included a cruise where we saw 8 crocodiles! Mario, the guide, was very passionate about the rainforest trees, he explained a lot of interesting things about them. We had a delicious lunch and We were picked up and dropped on time, perfect day.

This trip was fantastic, especially because our driver/guide, Mario was terrific and very informative. A great full day.

Mario our guide was excellent and extremely informative. Morning tea disappointing and No afternoon tea provided. An offer to buy our own ice cream in afternoon. Beautiful scenery and walks.

Although the weather forecast wasn't very good, we were quite lucky and had an awesome day. We saw crocodiles, bats hanging in the trees, the wonderful nature in the Rainforest, fed super cute Wallabies, wandered around Cape Tribulation, ate a Coconut on the beach and learned a lot about the nature, the animals and the history of this country. The tour guide was perfect! He knew everything, was super friendly, funny, played good music in the car and it was always informative what he told us, never boring. And I bet for this price it's hard to take a car on your own and do all the stuff we did! B So I highly recommend this trip.

I had an enjoyable experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and was friendly, funny and accommodating. I only wish we could've gone for a swim, but didn't want to get eaten by crocs

Joe our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the Daintree forest! Took us to places some secluded only to our group! Our very own private creek. And personal tour of bug museum- even though it was close- but for Joe they allowed us in and showed us around. To top off the tour With exotic fruit ice cream stop over. Generally funny guy making the tour enjoyable and mind blowing facts of the forest.

Bruce was so friendly and knew so much about the area. We were able to see Crocs and really enjoyed it. Highly recommend this river cruise, you won’t be disappointed.

Hey fellow travellers. If you want fun, culture, humour, beaches and the rainforest all in one tour then this is the one for you. My highlight of the day was fish n chips on the beach. Thanks Eli, you kept us entertained all day and full of information (and bad jokes) hehe. Do it!

My husband and I had a great day with our guide, Buzzy. He shuffled the day around due to weather so we could enjoy it more and try and get more out if it. Day turned out to be perfect. Saw Mossman Gorge and Cape Tribulation with a few more stops. Buzzy 0ointed out the local flora and fauna which was also great. Thanks for a lovely day out.

My husband and I went on this cruise yesterday. We saw lots of crocs including the alpha male in the area Scar Face. The driver was knowledgeable of the Daintree River. It was raining in parts and he even drive into an estuary to protect us from the rain to save having to put down plastic blinds which would obscure our views. Our lunchtime cruise even cane with a pie and a drink. Bruce lives by the river and it is a family business. Highly recommended.

Fantastic trip down the river, and excellent value. Bruce is also very passionate about the crocs and we were lucky enough to even see some babies. He even pointed out a tree frog in the distance. A lovely hour on the river and the property itself is just gorgeous. Well worth doing whilst up in FNQ.

Very well organised tour. Friendly staff from reception to tour guide. Offered coffee on arrival in beautiful rainforest surroundings. Small tour group of 12 so plenty of room in boat which included the dog mascot Duke who was very friendly. Saw variety of crocodiles in the wild both in and out of the water. Also a python, green tree frog, variety of birds. Recommend this tour as it is in their environment and on the beautiful Daintree river.

Mario is an excellent guide and driver! Right from the start he gives out loads of information along the way and it's all very interesting. Nothing ever seemed to much trouble for him and he really made the day so enjoyable :-) The trip itself is excellent and you get to see lots of really cool stuff, again mario points it all out for you :-)

Bruce is a fantastic guide with amazing knowledge of wildlife. Our journey was nice, interesting and very pleasant experience. We recommend it to everyone.

Great day

Although we were disappointed at only seeing one croc, we understand that the tour is not "on demand" and is based on animals, in the wild, just doing their thing. We still enjoyed the tour, which was extremely informative. I definitely recommend doing this tour.

Great - wasn’t many crocs around in March but the tour was extremely informative and professional Saw the beautiful Bruce (photo attached)

We went on the river cruise and had Bruce as our tour guide and it was the best day we seen many of crocs and he found all the big ones along the river bank. He was very knowledgeable about the area we seen lots of other wild life along the river banks and in the trees I would recommend this as a must do it’s very worth your while and the team are very friendly with great service.

We loved this tour up and down the river, Bruce has so much knowledge about the area and species. We saw three adult crocodiles and a juvenile plus lots of birds. Well worth doing whilst in this area.

Forget going to zoos take this tour and see wildlife as it should be in the natural environment. Our guide/skipper was very friendly and you could tell really cares about the Daintree and its varied inhabitants. We saw snakes and birds and were lucky to see croc hatchlings before coming across the bigger crocs. Our guide took a little extra time to make sure we saw a second croc as the tide was high and they were hard to find. Highly recommend this tour.

Loved it!! Really friendly company, I had to change our date and there was no issue at all. Then on the new date we arrived an hour early and instead of us having to wait around, they booked us on the earlier tour. Nothing was a bother to them. Of course the best part was that we actually got to see lots of crocodiles on the tour, it was a really fun morning. Our guide was great

I found the trip with Trek North very good, after reading a lot of reviews I was a bit not sure what to expect but if you look at the dates the negative ones are a couple of years ago so please check all reviews not just the ones that show up first. I found the whole tour great, food was good and big serves (too much for me) Alfred the driver/guide extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The only hiccup was the driver being given wrong hotel name which was not his fault, as there is 2 hotels with similar names although I did submit correct address, an oversight by somebody else. All in all a long day but well worth it.
