River cruise was beautiful and relaxing. We managed to see one baby croc! Loved the commentary too with all the history. Thanks for a great time 😃
Excellent natural environment settings. Feels like back to nature with just the right number of wildlife around to enjoy the visits. Lots of photo opportunities.
I was really impressed with the size of the wildlife reserve and the exhibits. There was plenty of keepers to talk to and they shared their knowledge and with enthusiasm. The cafe was a highlight with the abundance of friendly birds. The koalas and the crocodiles and the friendly birds were the highlight. Well worth the visit and time spent. A great day out!
Enjoyable, colourful, relaxing day, strolling around the peaceful environment. Great to see a koala awake, parrots chatty and brightly coloured, playful Kanga's, a place of great spirit
My partner and I loved it. Beautiful space and animals. The staff were great. We did our own walk around and a tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
The pass allowed 4 days of visiting. Due to heat in January we visited for 2-3 hrs each day. Only a 25 minute cycle from city of PD on path under shadered trees.
We loved being up close with the birds & the different wildlife. Great photo opportunities.Good value at Bookme prices & fre re-entry for a few days after initial visit.
Wonderful , helpful, polite, happy staff.
We went along to this with 2 very tired 6 year olds and weren't sure how long they would last. It was excellent. Intimate small free tour groups. The children and adults had the opportunity to feed and hold the very friendly birds. Sitting and eating lunch with them was so entertaining! Great being able to get so up close and hands on with a snake and baby croc. It's obvious that all the animals are well looked after and loved. The workers were also knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and awesome with the kids. Bonus was the that your ticket allows you a return trip over the following 2 days. Highly recommend! ?
We had a lovely and very informative day here. Lunch took a while but we were given a free fruit platter and icecreams as something went wrong in the kitchen. Very friendly staff and animals were not scared to interact.
Great communication, ALL day. Prompt pick up. Fantastic guide who had meaningful knowledge. Loved all the activities and many were a surprise. Highly recommend
A really good breakfast, everything well seasoned! Along with a beautiful view ?
Beautiful course, in spite of recent flooding...tough, massive greens...welcoming staff...thanks Reagan! Amongst the best courses in Australia!
Beautiful resort type setup,weĺl kept fairways and challenging greens even at the end of dry season, helpful staff but get yourself few extra balls especially if it is windy or your first time. Wouldn't mind GPS on board of the cart for the price of the round
Palmer Sea Reef breakfast was lovely. Sitting out side looking onto the golf course. The service was excellent and I would definitely return.
Went for breakfast mid week, was a good choice, lovely brekkie and good service, will go again if up that way
Highly recommend this company to anyone! Was a awesome experience, lots of laughs, genuine guy who runs the show and just an overall wonderful morning! A tip for anyone who is keen on trying this activity out, go as early as you can so you can get started before the wind hits! - Dani, Jay, Belinda, Eva & Nietus!
This is honestly so much fun! Such a laugh, a must do when in Port Douglas! We will definitely be back!
This was great fun for the whole family. Simple instructions saw us standing in no time. The photos shared afterwards were an added bonus and captured the moments beautifully. Will definitely do this again.
Beautiful course suffering a little from the extended wet season. But still great to play. Improving every day the sun shines.
LOVED IT! We had a stunning sunset, friendly hosts and we didn't have to deal with the numbers you see on the larger boats. I also was interested in the history of the boat. Great job!
What a well run operation. The crew was fantastic and the facilities were top notch. These people love their job and it shows. I would recommend this trip to anyone!
So much history and knowledge plus great humour on the way well worth the money it'd a must 👌
My partner and I really enjoy our sunset cruise with the crew on the Shaolin we had gorgeous weather. Excellent value for money and overall a wonderful experience.
A wonderful sunset on port Douglas with Shaolin. 1 drink and 2 snacks included, a lovely place to see port Douglas from the sea. Staff friendly and not to many people on the board ;)
We thoroughly enjoyed our sail on board this historical junk with the Shaolin crew. Best way to spend an afternoon drifting along with drinks & snacks a plenty. A great relaxed atmosphere with free choice of sitting beneath or above deck. Although we didn’t get to see a sunset due to the blocking sun, it was still a memorable experience.
What a great experience. The Shaolin is a beautiful boat. Crew were friendly and helpful. Canapes and drinks great but just the sail out from Port Douglas and seeing the sunset was amazing. Highlight of our trip from Melbourne.
I treated myself and my mum to a sunset cruise and I’m so glad I did! The crew were friendly and informative and it was so relaxing to be out on the water. The food & complimentary drink was a great start to the evening too. The boat is beautiful & very well maintained.
Was such a great experience Family friendly Great staff Awesome boat!
My wife, my Daughter, some close friends and I, recently enjoyued a sunset cruise in Port Douglas on the Shaolin and would recommend it to anyone. The staff on board were so welcoming and friendly, as well as being able to tell us the history of the Junk and of course great local knowlege. On the evening we were oin board, the waters around Port Douglas were very choppy, and the Shaolin is one of the only sunset cruises that has the option of travelling up Dicksons Inlet, so a calm trip is guarenteed in case you are worried about seasickness. We had a fantastic night for my birthday and would advise anyone heading to Port Douglas, to make sure you add the Shaolin to your to do list. The only other advise would be, make sure you book prior to arriving in Port Douglas to ensure your place on board. Whether it's a day tout to snorkel at the Low Isles, or the sunset cruise, the Shaolin should be your first choice!
It was absolute bliss, taking in the views of the area on the Shaolin. The Captain and his 1st mate were welcoming, friendly and informative. Great start to our holiday!
Due to the sea conditions we did the sunset cruise up the river. Great cruise and superb snacks and bevvies. Cheers team...
Brilliant tour, just nine in our group. I chose this over a reef tour partly because of cost and because weather had been poor for the last few days. We turned back early because one of the group was unwell with the swell but this meant we had time to go up river where we saw a crocodile. Only downside was that one of the group was very loud and offensive about various people(s) but you can't blame the crew for this! They were very informative and fun and the included drink and snacks were a nice touch. So, if you want a great small group experience this is ideal
Great… no sunset regrettably, rained but serene and beautiful conditions… the operators made it a fantastic experience! I will do it again in a heartbeat as a local.. a great way to get out on the water
