Experience the best day at the Outer Great Barrier Reef from Cairns. The large modern vessel provides a superior ride to protected reef locations. Discover the magic of the Great Barrier Reef and explore two outer reef sites snorkelling. Down Under Cruise and Dive have selected their outer reef locations based on variety and bottom contours, to provide the best experience for experienced snorkelers, beginners and children of all ages.The outer reef locations, Norman Reef or Saxon Reef, are usually visited in the morning, before making our way to North Hastings Reef in the afternoon to explore this second reef site.
Enjoy snorkelling at both reef sites with all snorkelling equipment and tuition provided or add some adventure to your day with a variety of our optional activities including up to 3 introductory or certified scuba dives, semi-submarine or marine biologist tours and helicopter scenic flights.
You will be treated to a generous full BBQ lunch with prawns, steak, fish and a variety of salad options (special dietaries also catered for), and a complimentary glass of wine with cheese and biscuits on the return journey as you cruise back to Cairns.
ACTIVITIES:
- Snorkelling - enjoy unlimited snorkelling over 5 hours of reef time at 2 spectacular outer reef sites. Explore the underwater marine world with an abundance of fish, stunning coral formations and other marine life! Snorkelling is included.
- Scuba Diving - upgrade and choose the dive package to enjoy either an introductory scuba dive or a certified scuba dive for certified divers. This package includes one pre-booked dive at a discounted rate. Additional 2nd and 3rd dives can be purchased directly with the tour operator before travel. Please be aware at peak times dive availability can sell out due to pre-bookings.
Departure Location: Reef Fleet Terminal Building (1 Spence Street Cairns) at the Down Under Dive check-in counter. You can make your own way there or book transfers.
Transfers: Please arrange with the operator after booking - $23pp from Cairns City and $34pp from Outer City and Northern Beaches and $99pp from Port Douglas (min 2 passengers required).

좋은 배 좋은 경험 단 스쿠버다이빙은 포함되어있지 않음.
출발시 매표소 다운언더부스로 가서 바우처 보여주면 티켓받고 선착장으로 가서 배에 탑승후 서류 작성. 첫번째 포인트 도착해서 스노클링 시작. 다른 후기에서 스쿠버 1회가 무료라고 적혀있었지만 다이빙에는 추가 금액을 내야했고 스노클링만 2회 진행했다. 두 포인트 중 두번째 포인트갇 더 좋았다. 점심은 뷔페식인데 샐러드는 맛이좀 별로였고 새우와 스테이크가 그나마 먹을만했다. 스테이크는 대량으로 굽다보니 구웠다기보단 얇게 삶은느낌. 한국사람들은 초장가져가면 새우 많이 먹을 수 있을듯. 스노클링 시간은 1시간~1시간30분? 정도 주는것 같고 돌아오는 배에서 공짜 와인,치즈,크래커,과일을 준다. 과일은 빨리 없어지기 때문에 복귀해서 빠르게 줄 서시길.

저 배멀미 때문에 맥 못추고 있어서. 스쿠버 다이빙 단체로 설명 해주는거 나중에 따로 해주신다고 해서 저만 따로 해주시고 크루 멤버님들 정말 친절 하셨어요! 그리고 점심 부페는 최고! 고기에 새우짱! 생선에 샐러드에 그리고나서 과일에 과자랑 치즈 커피 차 뱃속이 아주 든든했어요! 산호도 정말 예뻐요!
