Excellent! beautiful experience
We had a wonderful time. The weather was clear, very little wind. We took the boat in the morning, the boat hosts were very funny. There was tea and coffee and fruit on the way back. When we got to the island we got our gear on, we had two others in our group, so It was nice and small. Our tour guide was wonderful, very thoughtful and took care of everyone. We saw the most magical fish, rainbow and not afraid of us. We also saw a gorgeous sea turtle. My tips are; wear zinc and sunblock and a hat. We still got burnt after two layers. all in all, it was our most memorable event in cairns.

Brilliant day out
Had a great day out on Fitzroy Island with our guide Hannah and also Eunji and Chase. Good instruction before paddle boarding and lovely snorkel sites. It was really good after to have time to grab lunch and explore the island in our own time before leaving as there was so much to do on Fitzroy and it was so beautiful. Hannah was really attentive to everyone throughout the paddle boarding and was great for letting us know what we could spend our time doing and giving directions. Also had a great time with Eunji who gave some great hints and tips about things to do on the island and also places back in and around Cairns that were worth a visit.

Went up the river instead
Didn't get to stand up paddle board at Fitzroy Island, but did go on the river. Allie was full of fun and got everyone up (though my husband then went straight down again). Great to do something different on holidays. If I can do it, anyone can! (and I'm 62 with an arthritic hip)
