• This hire is for same-day return no later than 5 pm.

  Opening Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 9 am - 5 pm.

  Cairns Electric Bikes is located at Shop 3, 34 The Esplanade Cairns, under the Hilton opposite the Casino just up from Hemmingways Brewery and Fig Tree Park.

  Terms and Conditions:

  - Customers will be asked to make a security deposit by cash or credit card pre-authorisation, on-site, for $100 per bike (similar to a car hire firm). The deposit will be released upon return of your rental after the product has been inspected.

  - Late returns incur a $10 fee, per bike, for every 30 minutes past return time, unless prior arrangements are made.

  - Full-day hire is from 9am to 5pm. You can pick up your bike at any time during the day but you must return before closing hours. Contact us if you need to make arrangements for extenuating circumstances or if you wish to extend your rental.

  - Minimum age for rentals is 12 years old. We have observed the bikes are too large and too heavy for younger children.

  - Liabilities: Hirer acknowledges the following by making this booking. A) Minimum requirement is that Hirer has sufficient experience riding a bike and can ride safely. B) At the commencement of hire, Hirer acknowledges that C.E.B has taught how to use the electrics sufficiently and as such hirer rides at their own risk. C) Issues with the rental product not reported within 10 minutes will be seen as damages by the rider (noting: the customer is not liable for things that are considered normal wear and tear, C.E.B reserves the right to determine normal wear and tear vs damage). D) Hirer accepts full responsibility for the product under their care and is liable for theft, punctures and major damages.

  
  

• Date Change and Refund Policy:

  - A $10 processing fee will occur on all customer cancellations and date change requests. Requests will only be approved if notice is given no later than the day before (contact us directly to request a refund.)

  - Change of date requests are subject to pay the price of the Bookme pricing of the day in addition to the $10 processing fee stated above. A new booking date must be selected at the same time of request. No refunds will be granted after transfer. Date changes must be made directly with C.E.B and will only be accepted if there is availability on the requested day.

  - No cancellations will be approved on or after the collection day. This is both Bookme policy and C.E.B policy. It is the customers responsibility to plan accordingly.

  Upgrade Options: (ask us on the day)

  - Extend your day hire for an extra $20 per day. (Chargers will be supplied and a deposit taken).

  - Puncture and rescue insurance: $6 per bike. This insurance policy gives peace of mind knowing that someone will come and rescue you, cover the expense of a tyre and tube and even drop you off at an agreed location (within the cairns city limits). Ask us upon collection of bikes to add our puncture and rescue insurance.
