Experience one of Cairns' most exceptional and exclusive Great Barrier Reef tours with Dreamtime Snorkel. Join Indigenous Cultural Guides on a day trip to two breathtaking outer Great Barrier Reef locations, immersing yourself in the Dreamtime of this natural wonder. The reef sites you'll visit could be Milln, Flynn, Hastings, Saxon, Norman, or Thetford Reef.

Dive into up to 5 hours of adventure at the Outer Great Barrier Reef, where you can explore two fantastic coral reef spots. Swim in the crystal-clear reef waters and meet fascinating marine creatures and colorful coral gardens. Your package includes snorkeling gear, lycra suits and wetsuit rentals. If you wish you can add on a guided snorkel tour and a chance to feed the fish led by marine experts, and options for both certified and introductory scuba diving.

Get a taste of the past as cultural guides share the Dreamtime tales of the local people, giving you a richer understanding of the diverse ecosystems that make up the Great Barrier Reef.

When you've worked up an appetite, relish a delicious cold buffet lunch with seafood served onboard, along with complimentary morning and afternoon tea.

Itinerary

  • 8:15am - Boarding commences at our Dreamtime desk in the Reef Fleet Terminal Building
  • 9:00am - Depart Marlin Jetty Cairns
  • 10:30am - Our in water activities commence at the Outer Great Barrier Reef
  • Approx 12:30pm - Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch
  • 3:30pm - Depart the Reef and enjoy afternoon tea whilst interacting with the Indigenous Sea Rangers on board
  • 5:00pm - Arrive back in Cairns

    Please note that we adhere to strict Queensland legislation. Smoking and vaping are prohibited on all commercial reef tour boats and within 10 meters of jetties and pontoons to protect the marine environment and ensure guest comfort.

Super Trip

Wir haben den Schnorchelausflug mit Dreamtime sehr genossen. Es war alles gut organisiert. Die Stellen zum Schnorcheln sind sehr gut. Toll war auch das Angebot für unerfahrene Schnorchler zunächst eine begleitete Einführung zu bekommen. Ein teil unserer Gruppe hat auch einen richtigen Tauchgang gemacht und wurden dabei super betreut.

Gutes Erlebnis

Die Crew von Dreamtime war super und hat spannende Vorträge gehalten. Für die Kondition des Riff kann der Anbieter nicht viel, nichtsdestotrotz darf man nicht ein überragendes Marine life erwarten. Komisch fand ich, dass mir jeder einen anderen Preis für den certified dive genannt hat und ich dann mehrmals nachfragen musste.

Such a great day out in GBR!

Don’t think twice and book with Dreamtime! The tour is well organised and the two snorkelling spots are great! We could spend a lot of time in the water exploring the reef on our own and really enjoyed that. Food is yummy and the cultural presentation added something special to the tour.
