Our tour guide was informative and the driving was not boring coz there was a communication (topics of all sorts)...we enjoyed the tour.
We have so much love for this place. Our advice? Get here early whilst the kangaroos and devils are hungry and you can really get involved. Don’t miss the rescued parrots and the interesting talks by the keepers. The idea of an unzoo is great, come and find out about it.
It was a great day out, highly recommend it.
Our driver had great local knowledge. Good commentary all the way with some great little stops to break up the drive. Port Arthur was fascinating. Would recommend this trip.
An amazing day to Bruny island. Our wonderful tour guide Rick was so knowledgeable. Morning tea on the beach with local cheeses and wood fired sourdough, then the hunt for the white wallabies, tasted some native plants and then made our way to Bruny lighthouse. Between the lighthouse and lookout about 800 stairs. And Rick made it so interesting we did not even realise how many we had done. After all this we relaxed over lunch at the Bruny hotel with a glass of cherry cider. After lunch we visited a local honey maker and a cheese shop before heading back to Hobart. An absolutely wonderful 5 star day and definitely recommend. Also great communication and response time from emails when organising the tour. Great team all round. Thank you.
Bruny Island Was great we had a great tour guide Great job in setting up morning tea ( Oysters, Cheese, Fresh bread tea and coffee ) Lee is a very good tour guide very friendly Nick & Fay
Morning Tea was fantastic we had Oysters and $100 kg cheese. Seafood lunch was top notch. Lighthouse Tour was excellent. Good comprehensive Tour of the Island. I enjoyed my swim on Tour. Long day Trip comprehensive with much to do. I brought some bush honey tasted great bit. Overall I recommend.
Ric, our guide was incredible giving us the full experience of the tastes, culture and scenery of this incredibly beautiful part of Tassie and Australia. Cheeses and Oysters the best
It was an amazing experience! The tour guide Rick is a very friendly and knowledgeable man! We enjoyed our day on Bruny Island a lot!!!
What a fantastic experience and good value for money. Picked up from our accommodation and given a full commentary on the bus by the lovely Gemma, we enjoyed a delicious morning tea of oysters, cheese and freshly baked bread then a choice of meals at the Bruny Hotel. Definitely try the seafood chowder! The trip to the lighthouse was amazing. We were unlucky not to see the white wallaby on the Island, but we thoroughly enjoyed our day.
Sensational Nigel the Tour Guide My favourite part related to the quality of the tour guide. I likened him a little to Mick Molloy. We had an old lady with us from Malaysia that could not speak any English and Nigel went out of his way to ensure that she enjoyed the experience. She did however understand the word 'chocolate' His knowledge of the history and his love for the wildlife certainly shone through. We loved the fresh food (oysters, cheese and bread) and the lunch at the hotel was sensational. All in all, it was a sensational experience that has given us a great reason to return. Besides the hotel is the only place you can get the 'apple and cherry' cider
It was an amazing experience. Very scenic, relaxing and joyful tour. Taste of Tasmania is another unforgettable experience of honey, chocolate, cheese, oyster and ciders. Lunch at bruny hotel was delicious. A big Thank you for Philip who guided us with lots of fascinating information and uploaded pick ? . 100% recommended to experience it in person.
