Super fast boat. Awesome experience. We went out on a rainy morning but crew managed to find a spot with good visibility to snorkel. Lunch was even better than expected. Highly recommend

Captain, Kelly and the funny crew are amazing. Sadly a big part of the reef is dead ?, so if you want to see more corals ? ? you have to take a sailing trip and go bit more far. ⛵️

Loved the trip and reef. Weather wasn't great but that didn't matter under water. Excellent lunch, crew, boat and day. Would definitely reccomend.

Had a great time with the Explore Group crew. Very knowledgable and diligent team. The lunch was much better than expected for a tour/boat lunch too! Didn’t get to see an incredible amount of fish and unfortunately no sharks, turtles, or anything else out of the ordinary but of course that always depends on the day. The corals were fantastic though! Loved that the bar opened on the way back ;-) Would recommend!

Set for a whole day sailing, and exploring the reef we witnessed 4 seasons in one day. A perfect start, speedy journey to little black reef with my son learning some great facts from John and Sean. Wonderful snorkel session 1 saw numerous fish and a couple of reef sharks before snorkel 2 where the heavy dark clouds rolled in. The staff (in rubber ducky boats) were extremely experienced in assisting us from rapidly changing conditions (now choppy) and we left the reef in heavy rain which was a welcome sight. We returned with the sun threatening to break through passing a few slower sail boats on the way. I have already suggested to several of my friends that Explore is definately the boat to choose if travelling to the Whitsundays. Five Star !!

Due to the wind it was not possible to do the outer rif but. We could reschedule or get a refund but we decided to do the "bad condition tour". What a great day we had. First we went to the Whitsunday Island and after that we did our first snorkeling. Took a great lunch and made the second snorkeling. The crew was so nice and experienced. We saw a lot of fish and reef. Many thanks to the crew and of course the captain.

Due to wind we didn't get out to the reef which was didappointing but understandable. We were taken to 2 different spots, one which had coral to snorkel over for up to an hour, the other luncheon bay where we saw lots of beautiful coloured fish. After this we went over to Whitehaven beach for an hour or so. Yummy morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea were provided. Tea and coffee was also complimentary with a bar available to purchase after snorkelling. The staff were all lovely. Our 6 year old got scared snorkelling, they were loving taking care of her so we could still do this. Highly recommend. Thank you Explore group.

First, a comfortable transfer from Airlie Beach to Hamilton, followed by a beautiful cruise out to the Reef. Staff are wonderful and do everything to make you comfortable and safe. The snorkelling was a fantastic experience, I feel so privileged to have enjoyed the Reef! I highly recommend this tour

Our Zigzag experience couldn't have been any better. We all had a fabulous day, captain was very funny & informative about our surroundings & places we visited. The crew were always helpful & friendly as well. The boat was great, we even found some mating turtles along the way. Value for money was the best around. Have always found Bookme the terrific, if they have things we want to do. John & Robyn. 😊👏😊

There were no clouds in the sky so weather was perfect, Dave my instructor was originally from Sheffield so talking about northern things calmed me down before the jump which was amazing!

Really professional and pleasant service from the guys, and unbelievable views of the reef and Whitsundays. Would 100% recommend to everyone visiting the area, an all round unmissable experience :)

We had a really lovely afternoon with Anthony. He called in advance just to postpone the flight a little as the weather wasn't great. By the time we got onto the plane it was perfect! I'm really glad he gave us a heads up. The views where incredible. Defenitly a must do if visiting Airlie Beach!

Christian (also a Pilot) collected me from my Hotel and Zac (our pilot) took 5 of us for the experience of a lifetime. Flying over all the Whitsunday Islands (Whitehaven Beach is voted the World's best) then out to the Great Barrier reef to see Heart Reef & Heart Island. What a sight to see from 1000 feet @ 110 knots. Spectacular scenery and by far the best value for an experience of this kind. Good work boys, much appreciated.

A wonderful experience all round. We were picked up and taken to the airport by an experienced guide who told us of various places to see and things to do while in Airlie Beach. The flight was spectacular with the pilot pointing out all the main sights with additional information to go with them. Very reasonable price for a view of the reef you could only get from the air. Fantastic!!!

Yes, I agree it's not cheap to fly especially when you've already spent a lot of money on flight, accommodation and other tours. But my advice is do not hesitate and just book it in! It is absolutely amazing to see the beautiful nature. It looks just like the photos

My kids and I didn’t really know what to expect but this experience exceeded all expectations. We were collected and driven to the airstrip, and treated to an amazing flight over the reef, with incredible vistas and by the time we landed, knew it was a highlight of our holiday. Definitely recommend.

Our flight over the Whitsunday islands and the outer reef was fantastic Our pilot took us to some amazing places and although we had been to a few of them the day before on a boat, the view from above was unforgettable. The colours of the water were amazing and to see Heart Reef for real (not just a photo) was a highlight. So many photos to look back on. These memories will last a lifetime. Thanks fly aus

We purchase this flight as a sampler its our first light aircraft flying experienced,it did not failed us. It an amazing experienced. We are not small people and were a little worried. Christian our pilot were very helpful and knowledgeable. He educatedThe weather help us a lot too as it was nice fine day. It was perfect experience, can't wait to do the 70 minutes flight next time.

The experience was amazing. The staff is really nice and the flight was worth it! I definitely recommend it. The Great Barrier Reef is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen in my life.

The flight over the Great Barrier Reef was stunning, with spectacular views of the islands and coral formations. Our pilot was very informative with anecdotes of various areas and sights.

My husband I agree that the fight was the best overall scenic flight experience ever. The views were stunning and the crew members Alejandro and Brook were professional, knowledgeable, and considerate. It exceeded expectations. Highly recommended.

All staff on Whitehaven boat trip and the scenic flight were terrific. Helpful, courteous and knowledgeable about the area. Bath days were enjoyable with beautiful scenery and I have lots of photos.

Christian our pilot was amazing. He really knew his stuff. He prepared us for everything including any bumps we would incur during our flight. The views are breath taking. We were in absolute awe the whole time. Thank you for wonderful service, a great flight and some absolutely amazing memories we got to make today.

I have wanted to do this flight from the time we moved here 20 years ago, and finally I did it, and it was amazing. To see the reef and islands from the air is a totally different experience to visiting by boat. It is a small plane, not a lot of room, a few bumps, all had a window seat all the things I expected for a scenic flight. It was great tour, informative and we didn't get sick. If I just took photos, I would have had the wing support in some photos, but it was just a matter of turning a little to face the window and adjust the lens. I saw all the things I wanted too, Hill inlet, Heart reef, the reef from the air, islands, even a whale with her calf. Pilot did a countdown when approaching heart reef, and let us know when hill inlet was close, so it was easy to be ready to take photos, and still have time to enjoy the site away from the camera. They did a pass one way and then back to other way, so everyone got to see the sights. I did do some research and talked to a photography friend, I was told low tide around midday is the best time, to wear black and no jewelry to help avoid reflections in photos, 30mm lens, click away and don't forget to look up away from the camera to enjoy the view. I'm not a photographer, but I think my photos are pretty good, straight off the camera, not adjusts made.
