What's included

  • Premium snorkel gear, snorkel instruction, life vests, noodles and Reef Safe sunscreen

Duration

  • Allow approximately 3 hours for the whole experience

Location

  • Howard New Bait Shop & Dive Centre, 95 Marine Parade, Southport QLD 4215, Australia

Notes

  • Please Note:While we encourage our guests to bring their own mask, fins and snorkels we DO NOT allow the use of full-face masks on our excursions aboard the vessel. During snorkeling activity, the need for more oxygen requires us to breathe faster. With a full-face mask, some of the exhaled carbon dioxide may not fully exit the device and it is possible to breathe in the contaminated air that has potential to lead to unconsciousness and fatalities. As a result of many full-faced mask incidents, many snorkel tour operators, SCUBA companies in the Australia have prohibited the use of full-face masks.

Great experience

We were a family of 1 teen & 2 adults. We went on the early departure of 7 30. It was such a good time, with friendly crew & a beautiful place to explore. We saw many kinds of fish along with a few baby stingrays & a sea snake. Great pricing & well worth the trip. We recommend it for a fun half day out in nature!

We went to see turtles, we saw mud

The attention from the staff is good, the explanations are good and in general the treatment is very good, we want to make special mention to Monica, we found her to be very professional and attentive. The problem is that due to the rain everything was muddy, they don't tell you anything. The place where you ‘dive’ is full of people doing the same experience, who arrive on foot or in similar boats, everyone diving near a rock near the shore. I personally would not repeat the experience even if there was good visibility.

Interesting

Great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and competent. Unfortunately the water got quite murky while we were at Wave Break Island so we didn't see clearly as many fish as we'd hoped.
