From when we left until our return this was an absolutely amazing, awesome, fantastic, mind blowing day !!! The driver/ guide Smoky was a wealth of information about Australia, the Blue Mountains and lots of local knowledge and the environment. This trip will be one of the highlights of my holiday here. We were well off the beaten track on the 2 hour walk down to the falls One definitely not to be missed.
This was such a fantastic day out. Full of sights and adventures. The lookouts, waterfall, Scenic World were all lovely then the added bonus of the zoo with photo and even a ferry ride. Our tour guide Ronnie was awesome with lots of facts and interesting info. Definitely worth the money and would even do it all again!
Highly recommended tour. i really enjoyed it
I heard about this tour from a few people who were staying at my hostel, and I’m very happy that I listened to them! Jason was a fun guide and clearly loves what he does. The mountains were absolutely spectacular - do not miss this experience!
From pick up to drop off everything ran to time. There were 20 people on the tour. The wildlife park was very well maintained and not overcrowded, we were allowed plenty of time to see all the animals. Scenic world was very well organised and worth a visit, again enough time was given to enjoy lunch the rides and a walks. Ronnie was our guide and was excellent making sure everyone was comfortable, he gave us plenty of information along the journey too. The only downside of the day was the mechanical condition of the minibus, the gears and automatic doors both need attention!
Do this tour, you have to see these mountains. It truly is a nice tour that allows you to get out of the city hustle! The guide we had was very nice, took all the time he needed and guided us very well! The bus was quite new with comfortable seats. It take whole day (approx. 10-11 hours) for this tour! Good value for money! You can book additional Katoomba Scenic World (AUS$ 39,- upon our booking) which is worth to do!
Hayden made this tour amazing. He was so caring, funny & knowledgeable that all of us wanted the tour to never end.
Our Tour Guide was excellent. Very funny and humorous. I enjoyed the tour very much.
Jodie is hands down one of the best tour guides I’ve had across all the tours I’ve done! She’s incredibly knowledgeable, entertaining, and just really easy to get along with. The whole day felt well balanced. It never felt rushed, but it also didn’t drag on or leave everyone exhausted by the end. Her instructions were always clear and easy to follow, which made the whole experience feel really smooth and effortless. You could tell she genuinely enjoys what she does, and that energy made the tour even more enjoyable! I also loved how much we learned throughout the day about Australian history and the Blue Mountains. There were so many little things I wouldn’t have picked up otherwise. Overall, we would absolutely go on another tour (hopefully with her again) when we return. The weather didn’t quite cooperate the first time, so we’ll definitely be back to do it again.
Despite the fog and rain, the guide went above and beyond to ensure we still had the best possible experience. We really enjoyed the Blue Mountains trip and are so glad we booked it. The 11 hour journey felt like just 2 hours, and every stop was memorable. Highly recommended.
Worth the price I did enjoyed the views were specticular and the riding and those cable cars was fantastic.
What a brilliant day to get away from the hustle and bustle of Sydney town. Awesome scenery, walks and adventure. The Scenic Cableway, Railway and Skyway are well worth the optional $39 extra. We did the long rainforest walk which I highly recommend, to see nature at its best. Wentworth Falls was only a trickle but that's only because there has been no rain. I would imagine it would be amazing after some heavy rain. Awesome photo opportunities everywhere. Great tour driver and guide, Jason from Oz Trails. The cruise back to Circular Quay and Darling Harbour is the most relaxing sight seeing way back into Sydney avoiding that crazy stupid Sydney traffic. Definitely a 5 star day.
When we booked the Blue Mountain Full Day tour with Harbor Cruise we were hoping for a once in a lifetime experience. We'd never been to Australia before and scheduling a week full of activities in Sydney meant finding the best places to go. Just about everyone we talked to and all the websites recommended the Blue Mountains as a must see destination. So this tour looked like the best of both worlds. It was everything we hoped for! The only annoying part was an added charge for visiting the Blue Mountain Scenic World - but well worth the price of admission for the experience! Overall it turned out to be an amazing day and ended with our own family tour of the Sydney Opera House!
Super great, fun and educational tour! Les is a great, knowledgable and funny local guide. The views and places you see during this tour are just fenomenal! Also very suitable for children.
Good experience. recommended. The tour is well organized and our guide John, was friendly and perfect. He explained places, animals, plants and landscapes. really recommended
We had a fantastic time on our tour and our guide Karen was amazing and so informative. Even though the weather wasn’t great Karen made sure we were able to get the best views possible before the cloud coverage . We had a great time at Scenic World and loved being able to visit the Zoo, I was very excited to see Quokkas. I would highly recommend this if you’re thinking about a trip to the Blue Mountains.
Karen was absolutely amazing. Very informative, worked around the weather so we didnt miss out on anything. Highly recommend!
She was both our driver and tour guide, and she managed the whole group very professionally. Ronnie was friendly, knowledgeable, organized, and always made sure everyone was safe and on time. Because of her excellent time management, we were able to enjoy more time at Sydney Zoo and other attractions without feeling rushed. She also shared interesting information throughout the journey, making the trip enjoyable and never boring. Highly recommended and thank you, Ronnie, for making our Sydney trip memorable!
What a great day! Picked up from the front of our hotel to start our full day exploring. Exploring the waterfalls and walks of the Blue Mountains was amazing. Scenic World was fun and exhilarating. The Zoo visit was wonderful and the ferry home topped off a wonderful day. The tour operators and our driver was friendly and knowledgeable.
Really enjoyed all the nice things I got to see along the way, though I think if you’re not wanting to do the Scenic World tour (that costs $40 extra), you might want to pick a different Blue Mountains experience. A friend I met on the tour and I went for a nice walk while everyone else was doing Scenic World for 1.5 hours, but I can imagine someone who wasn’t similarly motivated might’ve wished for the time to be allocated differently. Our guide/driver was friendly and pleasant, but I found myself wishing for a bit more commentary along the way. I wondered in vain many times where we were and the history or geology of the places we were seeing. But overall, a good, solid tour of the Blue Mountains. Thanks.
Such a great trip and Paul was the best tour guide with so much knowledge. The stops were incredible and Paul took us to look our points on some of them that tourists aren’t aware of so we avoided the mass crowds. Would definitely book a tour with Barefoot again!
