Amazing!
I don’t know about you, but when I was a kid visiting the zoo I loved to check in on the seals. More than anything I wanted to jump into the water with them. Well the trip out to Popes Eye was even better than I could have imagined and if I’m being a bit corny, the fulfilment of a childhood dream. We were blessed with calm waters and sparkling visibility and the swim was brilliant. I’m no athlete and it was a sinch getting in and out of the boat and I felt very safe in the water. Apart from the seals - who were playful and easy to see - there was a myriad of colourful aquatic life and beautiful golden kelp and bright sea sponges. Highly recommend. Ridiculously good value for money.

Can’t wait to go again
Great crew who made sure everyone felt comfortable, safe and welcome. Easy pick up at Portsea. The weather was choppy on the day I went, but we still got to see some seals.

Awesome experience!
I took my three children and best friend today without letting them know what they were getting themselves into. They begun to freak out but the instructors were absolutely amazing! Talented, calm, kind and funny. Jake was professional but also very funny. We enjoyed learning from him

Outstanding!
We had the pleasure of joining this snorkelling tour today to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and I can genuinely say the crew made it an experience to remember. From the moment we stepped onboard from Portsea, the team was professional, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. A special thank you to the wonderful young lady crew member who truly went above and beyond for our family. The wetsuits proved to be a bit of a workout in themselves, but she tackled the challenge with such patience, humour, and determination. Her help was absolutely invaluable and deeply appreciated! Jake, another standout crew member, managed the group smoothly, especially while out at sea, always keeping safety front and centre without ever making it feel rigid or overbearing. His calm encouragement made even the more nervous swimmers in our group feel at ease. One of the most heartwarming moments was when the skipper made an announcement and everyone sang happy birthday to my daughter – a simple gesture that meant so much. It’s rare to find such a perfect balance of professionalism and genuine kindness, but this team nailed it. The snorkelling itself was breathtaking – there was 1 stop where we jumped in and snorkled our way close to the rocks and the 2nd jump was up close to the sea lions(within the limit allowed but we were fortunate they came close to us, very friendly )crystal-clear views, vibrant marine life, and an unforgettable sense of wonder, especially coming from an ordinary city scene. Thank you to the entire team for making us feel so welcomed, cared for, and part of the crew for the day. Highly recommend! We will be coming back with friends!

Magical Adventure.
It was a hoot. The kelp is abundant & healthy, along with the multiple other colouricious life forms. It was so beautiful and I felt safe. Loved being so close to fish I didn’t know, and the playful, acrobatic seals in their own territory, the open sea. Our guide, Jake, had much historical knowledge, obvious experience & insight about the entire area, which enriched my experience. Learning new kick and duck-diving techniques was a bonus as I’m self-taught and have only recently begun wearing wetsuits, and never such a thick, warm & buoyant one. It was all a magical learning adventure. I’ll be back.
