Christmas traveller said... I expected more after reading the previous reviews. Don’t get me wrong I wasn’t expecting luxury as you get what you pay for but I was defiantly expecting a better experience. The weather was awful when we went out - we was in bad weather from about an hour or so in up until we got to whitehaven around 2pm. In this time two girls fell over and injured there hands getting down the ladder, the crew didn’t do much to help - luckily there was a doctor and nurse on board, there was then blood stains left on the floor and side of one of the beds which the crew also didn’t clean up. No snorkelling or lunch stop on day one due to the bad weather - makes me wonder why we even left. This was the xmas eve / day boat there was no Christmas atmosphere, crew didn’t look like they wanted to be there, nothing done to even acknowledge it was xmas (we found a bag of Xmas decorations lying around but they were never put up). Getting back onto the boat after Whitehaven was also a nightmare the waves picked up again and crew couldn’t marry the boat and speed boat up with the ladder - captain stood and watched whilst we struggled to get back on. Day two was better - two snorkeling spots but water was murky from the storm so visibility wasn’t great. Weather picked up on this day. Overall trip was average, day one was not enjoyable, crew didn’t seem interested in being there and food was understandably basic for a boat but not prepared well - pasta was over cooked and salad looked like it hadn’t been washed prior to serving and no flavour - the pot of mixed herbs were put on the table with the food - Didn’t taste like it had been added whilst cooking.
