Mari said... There were many things that could be improved on, but the main thing that was disappointing was that the crew seemed to put in minimal effort they needed. There was no initiative from their side to mingle/chat with people, make everyone feel a part of the group or give us any sort of information on the surroundings or wildlife unless you went and asked straight. It didn't feel like a guided tour. On the first day we got to Whitehaven beach at 1pm and then were dropped to shore until 5.15 which I found way too long. Seeing other groups at the beach with crew members organising things and giving a guided tour to the viewpoint made me feel like I would rather be a part of Apollo or another tour instead. Food was very average and in the morning for the first 2 hours there weren't even any spreads for toast then they suddenly appeared. Water was turned off for the night and in the middle of the second day without any warning so if you didn't have your bottles filled you were very thirsty. At the beginning they said that water is available all the time. At one point the toilet system flushed on the deck... so yes, it wasn't such a great tour. The captain Mark had some great stories to tell if you went asking for them. There was of course good stuff too. Great people and being out at sea in general is great! Instructions for how to use a snorkel mask were sublime. Wouldn't go again.
