We paddle and sail past Whisper Bay to Pigeon Island and the local ship wreck, the 3 masted schooner “Whitsunday Magic”. You will have a good chance of seeing turtles, dugongs, dolphins, and plenty of bird life
Tour Features:
- Experience paddling and sailing a real Outrigger Canoe!
- Small group numbers – maximum 4 people
- Water and homemade snacks included
- Sit back and relax or pick up a paddle and get involved – it’s up to you!
- Chance to spot wildlife including Turtles, Dugongs, Dolphins and bird life
Your tour includes:
- 2 hour guided tour to Whisper Bay and Pigeon Island
- Chance to learn everything you need to know about outrigger paddling and sailing before we leave the beach
- Water, delicious homemade snacks
- Sunscreen and spray jacket
- Lock up area for your valuables provided
- Photos of your trip included
- Hawaiian Lei for you to keep
Departure/meeting point: Lagoon Beach, right beside the Lagoon, central Airlie Beach
Duration: 2 hours
Departure Time: We work in with your day, just let us know a time that suits during the morning or afternoon
You just need to bring: Swimwear, hat and clothing to cover you from the sun
Price: $100 per Adult, $85 per Child
Tour confirmed with a minimum of 2 guests. If you are booking as a single person and there are no other bookings for this tour have the option to be wait listed or fully refunded

A fantastic tour guide and an A1 location. Thank you for such an amazing experience aboard your custom built sailing outrigger. A must do if you are visiting Airlie Beach.

Gods experience
We had morning rain which was so pleasure. Michelle and Stephen planned every step to make the trip special like you were having holiday in Hawaii. Stable sailing boat and plenty time to search turtle even we did not see one due to weather and time issues. It ‘s still great trip to us to experience sailing boat.

Great Time on great Boat
We had such a great time on the boat. Stephen is very friendly and it's very homey, like going sailing with your Dad (I assume :D) His wife, Michelle, even packed a little snack and flower, which was a lovely little extra. The turtles where a little bit more shy than usual but we still saw a bunch, some of them very close to our boat. We would definitely book this tour again. Thank you so much, Stephen and Michelle!!

A personal experience
This is a fantastic little tour. Stephen was great. We had a lovely time spotting over 25 turtles. It was very relaxed and comfortable and like no other. Highly recommend it.

Selbst bei schlechtem Wetter top
Die Tour war schön und hat Spaß gemacht. Wir haben ein paar Schildkröten und eine Seekuh gesehen und waren schwimmen. Leider hat uns an dem Tag das Wetter recht übel mitgespielt - aber wir haben Cappys und Jacken bekommen und ich war superfroh, dass die Tour nicht abgesagt wurde (alles andere, was ich gebucht hatte, wurde wegen schlechtem Wetter gestrichen). Die See war sehr warm und trotz Regen und Wind kamen wir sehr gut voran. Und das Paddeln macht auch einen Riesenspaß.
