Join Whitsunday Sailing Outrigger on a 2 hour tour to Pigeon Island!
We paddle and sail past Whisper Bay to Pigeon Island and the local ship wreck, the 3 masted schooner “Whitsunday Magic”. You will have a good chance of seeing turtles, dugongs, dolphins, and plenty of bird life

Price: $100 per Adult, $85 per Child
Tour confirmed with a minimum of 2 guests. If you are booking as a single person and there are no other bookings for this tour have the option to be wait listed or fully refunded

We had a very relaxed time with Steven, a beautiful day with strange winds, but we could see some turtles anyway. The snack was lovely and it's a really nice way to be close to the sea without 30 other people around you ;)

Was amazing, even better with the pouring rain. Saw two dolphins along with about 30 turtles. The hospitality was simply comfortable Love love love love

I was pretty excited about this tour, up front and personal with turtles on a sailing canoe a chance to paddle or relax. I arrived and shook hands with Steven a pleasant chap who kidnaped my phone (thus camera) and a few other personal items and locked them up on the beach. He gave me a camera to take photos of the scenery and of course turtles with the promise these pics would be forwarded to me or uploaded onto the web page. Ok after a little talk and wait no one else was coming on the tour. The quiet flapping of sails and wind were absent replaced by an noisy little outboard motor as we traversed the bay. We saw lots of turtle heads at a distance that dipped and were gone long before I could really say that was what I was seeing. Hmm I thought the wind might pick up and then we might use the sails and get some much earned quiet and then perhaps we could see the turtles from a little closer. Well Steven continued to tell me a little about the coast and bay explaining which was informative and gave a little onsite into the post cyclone recovery. I was determined to like this quirky little tour given that it was on the water however that lovely lei to keep as a memento I had to ask for, the photos apparently were accidentally lost when there was an attempt to load them. A substantial snack that I really didn’t need but ate 2/3rds anyway. Maybe if it was a group of people it might be a little less awkward and maybe fun or romantic. I recommend you try the tour as it is different and Steven is a friendly bloke but hold onto your camera so you will have something to share and reflect on long after the trip.
Hi Gaye, Thanks for your honesty. In the past, guests have lost cameras, wallets and car keys, this is the main reason why we lock up valuables. The other key point is that guests don't usually have waterproof phones or cameras, so we provide a waterproof camera. Usually guests are expecting that they are required to pay for photos however when we let them know their photos are loaded to our Facebook page they are relieved and happy. Which leads us to the important point about your photos.....Stephen checked your tour photos were loaded and then deleted what he saw a "double up". This lead to your photos no longer being on the page-he felt terrible about it. I called a friend of mine with Facebook experience and asked if the photos could be salvaged after they had been deleted from the camera. Again, Stephen felt terrible, he realises just how important photos of a well earnt trip are. In our defense as a 5 star tour company for over 5 years, we continued with the one person booked on this tour, other companies would not. We are a credible, friendly family owned and run business showcasing a different aspect of the Whitsunday's that other visitors just do not get to see. Yes, turtles are a fantastic experience however they are not trained and do not appear on command. We are sorry you did not enjoy yourself.

Die Tour war schön und hat Spaß gemacht. Wir haben ein paar Schildkröten und eine Seekuh gesehen und waren schwimmen. Leider hat uns an dem Tag das Wetter recht übel mitgespielt - aber wir haben Cappys und Jacken bekommen und ich war superfroh, dass die Tour nicht abgesagt wurde (alles andere, was ich gebucht hatte, wurde wegen schlechtem Wetter gestrichen). Die See war sehr warm und trotz Regen und Wind kamen wir sehr gut voran. Und das Paddeln macht auch einen Riesenspaß.
