One of the Seventh Natural Wonders of the World, the Great Barrier Reef is a remarkable ecosystem with an abundance of marine life and coral on display.
Departing Airlie Beach, jump on board and experience a full-day snorkelling adventure with Explore Group. You’ll be taken to discover selected moorings around Bait Reef - the closest of the outer reef locations, and will travel between sites in comfort on board their custom-built dive/snorkel vessel.
Spectator only travellers: If you a person in your party is intending on travelling as a spectator only (not entering the water) You can add this on the way through to the checkout for $80 per spectator.

Intro to diving purchase includes your day trip and snorkel option, an Intro Dive on the Great Barrier Reef and pool skills session leading up to the day of departure, all equipment hire and one GBR dive session
Certified Diving purchase Includes trip and snorkel plus all equipment hire and two dive sessions on the reef
For diving - Children must be 12 years and older to participate in diving, and 14 to take part in our Discover SCUBA Diving Course (Intro Diving). You must complete a diving medical questionnaire before being able to dive with us. All certified divers must produce their certification card or log book at the time of booking.
Departures: Departs Airlie Beach 8am and returns 6.00pm

Alternative snorkel sites:
Occasionally strong winds prohibit us from reaching Bait Reef, on these days we will snorkel on the best of the numerous alternative fringing reef sites within the Great Barrier Reef, this offering a similar exceptional experience with an abundance of marine life.
