Thanks Fabienne so glad to hear you had a great trip with us. Our overnight sailing trips mean we get to the most popular swimming and snorkelling spots including Whitehaven Beach earlier than all the other crowds. Thank you once again and recommending us!! :)

An amazing trip

Thank you very much to Captain Mark, Andrew and Jody for allowing me to discover the great coral barrier and some beautiful beaches there. It was a wonderful experience (2 days in a boat, snorkelling...) that I'll never forget.

Slightly underwhelming

There were many things that could be improved on, but the main thing that was disappointing was that the crew seemed to put in minimal effort they needed. There was no initiative from their side to mingle/chat with people, make everyone feel a part of the group or give us any sort of information on the surroundings or wildlife unless you went and asked straight. It didn't feel like a guided tour. On the first day we got to Whitehaven beach at 1pm and then were dropped to shore until 5.15 which I found way too long. Seeing other groups at the beach with crew members organising things and giving a guided tour to the viewpoint made me feel like I would rather be a part of Apollo or another tour instead. Food was very average and in the morning for the first 2 hours there weren't even any spreads for toast then they suddenly appeared. Water was turned off for the night and in the middle of the second day without any warning so if you didn't have your bottles filled you were very thirsty. At the beginning they said that water is available all the time. At one point the toilet system flushed on the deck... so yes, it wasn't such a great tour. The captain Mark had some great stories to tell if you went asking for them. There was of course good stuff too. Great people and being out at sea in general is great! Instructions for how to use a snorkel mask were sublime. Wouldn't go again.

Not the best experience, not the worst

I expected more after reading the previous reviews. Don’t get me wrong I wasn’t expecting luxury as you get what you pay for but I was defiantly expecting a better experience. The weather was awful when we went out - we was in bad weather from about an hour or so in up until we got to whitehaven around 2pm. In this time two girls fell over and injured there hands getting down the ladder, the crew didn’t do much to help - luckily there was a doctor and nurse on board, there was then blood stains left on the floor and side of one of the beds which the crew also didn’t clean up. No snorkelling or lunch stop on day one due to the bad weather - makes me wonder why we even left. This was the xmas eve / day boat there was no Christmas atmosphere, crew didn’t look like they wanted to be there, nothing done to even acknowledge it was xmas (we found a bag of Xmas decorations lying around but they were never put up). Getting back onto the boat after Whitehaven was also a nightmare the waves picked up again and crew couldn’t marry the boat and speed boat up with the ladder - captain stood and watched whilst we struggled to get back on. Day two was better - two snorkeling spots but water was murky from the storm so visibility wasn’t great. Weather picked up on this day. Overall trip was average, day one was not enjoyable, crew didn’t seem interested in being there and food was understandably basic for a boat but not prepared well - pasta was over cooked and salad looked like it hadn’t been washed prior to serving and no flavour - the pot of mixed herbs were put on the table with the food - Didn’t taste like it had been added whilst cooking.
