Highly recommended cruise !

We were just 15 guests and had the most amazing trip. Nothing was too much for the crew Pete and Daisy, first to Whitehaven Beach at sunrise before the big groups arrive, 4 snorkel spots, bush walk to the Aboriginal Caves, even saw dolphins which they said was rare! Comfortable boat, great weather if even a bit hot, lovely group from all over the world. So much tasty food and felt very Christmasy with solar Christmas lights at night. Will be back !

Delighted you enjoyed your recent sailing trip on Habibi and thank you for all of your positive feedback. We are more than happy to be back out on the water showing guests the highlights of the Whitsunday islands over 2 days. We may be cheaper than some of the other cruises, but we never compromise on quality and fun! Enjoy the rest of your Australian adventure! The Habibi crew

Best value trip ever!

We were a bit hesitant about booking the Habibi tour because of the low price, but our expectationswere so overwhelmed. The boat, the crew, the other passengers onboard, the meals, the snorkel locations, the length of time we spent on Whitehaven Beach and the Hill Inlet lookout, breath taking scenery, dazling sunsets and we got to sleep on deck under the star where I saw m y first ever falling star! Don't hesitate, I would book the Habibi cruise again in a heart beat!

Don’t go for the cheaper option

The skipper is full of himself and doesn’t really care about you. We did 3 snorkeling spots and 2 of them were on the same place because he didn’t want to move the boat, and visibility was crap. Whitehaven beach was under pouring rain just because it fit his schedule, while going 2 hours later would have been really sunny. The cabins are really hot and we didn’t sleep anything, had to go to the deck and sleep next to pouring rain once again. Overall a very disappointing experience in the Whitsundays.

From Habibi - 2 Day 1 Night Whitsundays Sailing Adventure

Hi Pedro, The Habibi crew are completely baffled by your comments and review of your recent Habibi sailing tour, which you returned from yesterday? To quote your exact comments in the Habibi guest book, where guests can leave comments about their experiences onboard the boat and cruise, under no pressure from the crew : "We would like to thank you for the experience. During this trip we saw the best sky full of stars, the best sea full of corals and the best beaches full of white sand. Sharks and stingrays, it was an unforgettable experience. Despite the rough weather, the group made it incredibly better. Looking forward to coming back to the Whitsundays one day. Love from Portugal" The skipper is more than kind, patient, full of knowledge and local banter and goes out of his way to show our guests the highlights of the Whitsundays. The ships log indicates that you visited 4 snorkel spots during your cruise, but not all guests choose to go snorkelling at every reef site. Summer is our rainy season and you can expect rainfall, ( mostly just showers in January), from January to April. Unfortunately we can do nothing about the prevailing weather conditions, most guests just embrace the weather they are given on their chosen cruise departure dates and make the most of their tour. Our schedule is actually dictated by the tides and prevailing sea conditions so it is not possible to predict the exact time a rain shower will hit, whether at the beach, whilst snorkelling, sailing, at meal times or at night. So your proposition that the Skipper suited himself by going to the beach at a certain time is totally untrue. Yes we do try and be one of the first tour boats to Hill Inlet Lookout and Whitehaven Beach on the second morning of your cruise, to avoid the crowds that arrive off of the day boats from 11am onwards. Most Habibi guests really appreciate the extra effort the crew makes to get you to the best snorkelling sites and beach without the hoards of tourists. If it rains at night, some of the guests close the hatches (windows) in their cabins and because the boat is not airconditioned it can get hot when there is no sea breeze. We have had comfortable thick deck mattresses especially made for guests who would like to sleep on deck or in the wheel house. These areas are undercover and out of the weather, so I am unsure how you were forced to sleep out in the rain? All of the 11 guests onboard Habibi on your trip, including yourself and your partner wrote really positive and nice comments about the cruise so I am not sure what motivated you to have a sudden change of mind? The previous Bookme guests reviews can attest that yes we do offer cheaper rates than some of the other cruises because we prefer to offer our guests value for money, without compromising on quality and the personal touches we offer our guests has our cruise operating successfully in the Whitsundays for almost 20 years and we look forward to showing international guests the highlights of the Whitsundays for many years to come. All the best for 2020! The Habibi crew
