Pick up an Electric Scooter from Le Shack Airlie Beach and explore the town. A 2 hour hire duration gives you enough time to cruise the boardwalk, check out Coral Sea Marina, cruise passed the bars and cafes and get a feel for the town.
Tip - the best time of the day to take a hire is early morning, catch the birds and morning sun before the heat of the day sets in! Grab a takeaway coffee from our in house barista and head off to check out the boardwalk, local beaches and bays.

Friendly Service and great morning
We hired 2 scooters and started exploring Airlie Beach beachfront at 7am. It was great at this time of morning as there are not so many people around to ‘dodge’. We were lucky enough to see the Airlie Markets - very clean and tidy and some great stalls and stall holders. Would recommend this Scooter hire to anyone - great way to get around :)

Great morning out
The kids and I all had a great time. 2 hrs was a lot of time to see Airlie on electric scooters, the price was great and none of us stacked it which was surprising as 2 of the kids are accident prone. Down hill they get up to 30k/h Regular scootering you sit at 20k/h and sports mode is 25k/h. Heaps of tracks to ride, and you can get from Cannonvale to Airlie in 5mins on one of these Highly recommend this experience

Scooter hire
Booking, collecting, using all was great. Returned after 2 hours and closed. Wasn't sure what to do so rang mobile number on booking and told to lock it up over by fence. No problem. Would have been great if told the code as we couldn't lock it. Went and got a guy walking down footpath and he did it for us he just kept turning lock until each number fell into place. We then took photo to prove it was done as asked. This just could have been prevented if we had been told shop would be shut on our return and given a code for the lock would have been even better.

Electric Scooter Hire.
Great service - quick & friendly with clear instructions. Only concern was that it didn't handle slight rises that well, had to walk beside the scooter. Probably our weights, both just over 100kgs, didn't help lol. Luckily most of the route we took was flat.
