Day 1

Departing Alice Springs, we set out across the vast Outback landscape to the world-renowned Ayers Rock!

We'll stop off at the Aboriginal Cultural Centre where we'll learn about the fascinating history of the land & its people before walking the base track of the world's largest rock!

We finish of the day watching a stunning sunset over Uluru and spend the night under the stars.

Day 2

After devouring a scrumptious breakfast you'll watch a glorious sunrise over Kata Tjuta, before hiking to epic lookouts and exploring the amazing Valley of the Winds!

Day 3

Enjoy an unforgettable journey to the mighty Watarrka National Park (Kings Canyon), uncovering breathtaking sights along the way. We’ll set up camp for the night under the stars in an authentic station.

Day 4

Visit the Opal Capital of the World with a landscape that resembles the moon! We head to Josephine’s Kangaroo Orphanage where you'll meet rescued kangaroos and baby joeys! Tonight, we sleep like the locals do – underground, in bunkhouse accommodation.

Day 5

After breakfast we'll pass through the Flinders Ranges as we head north passing the mining town of Leigh Creek and Lake Eyre, Australia’s largest salt lake. we'll spend the night in Wilmington where you'll sleep among the red gum trees.

Day 6

Enjoy a morning walk through the amazing Alligator Gorge, you might get the chance to spot kangaroos or wallabies! Here you'll enjoy your last lunch with your group before heading to Adelaide.

Wir hatten das Glück, nur 5 Teilnehmer zu sein. Der Guide war engagiert und gut organisiert, das Essen lecker und die Unterkünfte bzw. Campingplätze völlig in Ordnung. Der Ablauf war reibungslos. Alles in allem also eine tolle Tour!
