Day 1: Uluru Base Walk (L,D)

You can be picked up from either the YHA Ayers Rock (Outback Pioneer) or Ayers Rock Airport (Uluru). Enjoy lunch and visit the Aboriginal Cultural Centre where you can learn about the fascinating Aboriginal Dreamtime, before embarking your Uluru Base Walk.

Take in the spiritual significance of Kantju Gorge, Mutijulu Waterhole and Aboriginal Cave paintings before a guided Mala Walk on Uluru.

Watch the unforgettable sunset and enjoy your dinner. Spend the night camping under the stars at the Ayers Rock Camp Ground in swags with hot showers and toilets facilities.

 

Day 2: Uluru Sunrise & Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) (B)

Wake up early for the most epic sunrise at the Uluru/Kata Tjuta viewing area before heading to the Valley of the Winds at Kata Tjuta. Your guide will describe the various types of bush tucker and point out the rock formations along the hike.

We will drop you off on day 2 at Ayers Rock Airport by 11.15am or Ayers Rock Resort by 11.30am.

Free Airport Shuttles operate every hour from the YHA Ayers Rock (Outback Pioneer) to the Ayers Rock Airport (Uluru) if you wish to spend the night and fly out of Ayers Rock on Day 3.

 

Guest age range: Most people on our tours are between 18 to 45 years of age and International travelers. If you are young at heart & reasonably fit you will fit right in.

National Park Fee: $25 per person - this is not included in the price below and is payable directly to the operator on the day

  • Pick up from Ayers Rock (Uluru) Airport

    We can pick you up from any flight into Ayers Rock Airport (Uluru) (Jetstar from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, Virgin Australia from Sydney and Qantas from Cairns).

    Please note that over summer time we cannot make the 11am Melbourne flight

    Those arriving into Ayers Rock Airport (Uluru) on the Cairns or Brisbane flight in the morning can catch the free shuttle bus to Ayers Rock Resort (Outback Pioneer) for pick up at 12.00pm.

    *Pick up times may vary according to day light saving time: (additonal info set out on booking confirmation)

    From 06/10 - 06/04/20: Pick up from Outback Pioneer at 12pm or Ayers Rock Airport at 1pm

    From - 07/04/20 - 05/10/20 - 12.45pm or 2.00pm - Pick up from Ayers Rock (Uluru) Airport

    Pick up from YHA Ayers Rock (Outback Pioneer) at 12.00pm from the main reception.

  • Sleeping bags - you can hire a sleeping bag for $20 per person, this can be added as you proceed through the checkout and paid on the day of travel

    The prices listed below exclude a mandatory $25 Uluru Park Fee this is payable direct to the operator on the day of travel.

Great tour!

The tour was excellent and a great way to see Uluru and Kata Tjuta up close. The sunset and sunrise were simply stunning. Food was ok but nothing special. Camping was pretty cool! Definitely recommend
