Rated the best day tour in Hobart, you will experience the very best of Tasmania's sunny east coast. Choose between a circumnavigation of Maria Island or a trip to Ile Des Phoques (French for Island of Seals). Both destinations are natural wildlife hubs boasting breathtaking natural formations, scenery and attractions. You will discover historic ruins, sweeping bays, dramatic cliffs and a plethora of wildlife including albatross, dolphins, Australian fur seals and whales (depending on the time of year). Choose to go on the legendary historical walks of Maria Island, soak up the sun on Darlington’s white sandy beach or swim/snorkel in the waters of Maria Island’s marine reserve.

This unique cruise and walk day tour offers two distinct cruise options - The difference being the destination of the cruise. The circumnavigation cruise will take you on a journey around the entire coastline of Maria Island and you can't possibly see any more of Maria Island in a single day than this tour! The Ile Des Phoques (island of seals) cruise will head north to a remote granite island where we visit the most playful Australian fur seals and explore the inside of the biggest granite seas caves in Tasmania, possibly Australia.
