Explore the charming and historic city of Hobart as you visit some of its most popular attractions, including Mt Wellington Summit and the Bonorong Wildlife Park.

Your day begins with a pick-up service (included in your tour) from your Hobart accommodation. The coach will first make its way to the summit of the majestic Mt Wellington, 1271 metres above Hobart. En route you’ll pass by Australia's oldest brewery, Cascade Brewery and through the forested areas of the lower slopes of the mountain before arriving at the summit. You will have plenty of time to take in the best views of Hobart and surrounding Southern Tasmania mountain ranges.

Returning to Hobart you will cross the Tasman Bridge and stop at Rosny Hill Lookout for spectacular views of Hobart and Mt. Wellington. Here you can experience Hobart from a different elevation before arriving at historic Bellerive Bluff and taking a short stroll around the coast to one of Hobart's popular inner-city beaches.

You'll then head along the Eastern Shore of the Derwent River arriving at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary where you will get to encounter native animals, including kangaroos, wombats and koalas. Learn about these animals on a guided tour before coming face to face with the ferocious Tassie Devils.

The tour also includes a new DVD storyteller, as you travel around Hobart, you will come to know the stories of Hobart's history as told through the old photos on the DVD screens and your expert guide's commentary. Your tour finishes with a drop off back to your accommodation around 3.30pm.

This is a fantastic day with views, walks, history and local wildlife!

    Excellent guide = great tour

Loved it, although it was filled with fog. Still got to step foot at the top of Mt Wellington. Knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide 👍
