The day begins at the iconic Margate Train, a fascinating collection of restored 1950s railway carriages transformed into a boutique destination filled with vintage treasures, handcrafted goods, local art, and specialty products.

Guests can take their time browsing the charming carriages or enjoy a morning coffee before continuing to Meredith’s Orchard, where seasonal fruits, farm-fresh produce, and artisanal Tasmanian pantry favourites showcase the region’s rich agricultural heritage.

A visit to the famous Get Shucked Oyster Bar introduces guests to the island’s celebrated seafood culture, with the opportunity to sample freshly harvested Pacific oysters while soaking up beautiful bay views.

The adventure continues to The Neck, the island’s iconic isthmus, where a climb to the lookout platform rewards visitors with breathtaking 360-degree views across rugged coastlines, sandy beaches, and surrounding waterways.

At Adventure Bay, guests can unwind with a relaxing lunch by the sea before joining their guide on a search for Bruny Island’s rare white wallabies, a unique wildlife experience found nowhere else in the wild.
