Immerse yourself in the beauty of this majestic island and see why it is fast becoming one of Tasmania's tourist hot spots. With fabulous walking trails through the rainforest and along the coast, we take you off the beaten path to experience secret lagoons and beaches that only the locals know about.
The morning will be quite active as we explore the island on foot, you will have the opportunity for a swim and plenty of time to take photos to share with your friends. There is a lookout with breathtaking 360° views over the Island, a lighthouse that was built by convicts in the 1830's and some of the best cuisine in Tasmania.
Bruny Island is home to some amazing wildlife including penguins, seals, wedge-tailed eagles, white wallabies and more so we'll be on the lookout for sightings.
For lunch you are spoiled for choice with cafes and restaurants boasting the fresh produce of the region, there is something to cater for all budgets and dietary requirements (lunch at own cost).
The afternoon will be at a more chilled out pace as we visit some local award-winning producers with beers, honey, oysters, and fudge to sample (at own cost). Bruny Island has so much to see and do your day will be full of fun and new experiences but we won't be able to do everything in the one day so we will decide as a group what suits best.

Our guide Gino, was amazing. He made the day really enjoyable. He was knowledgeable and took the time to educate the group about the Island and the history. He gave great recommendations at the food stops and made sure to adjust the schedule to allow us maximal time at each stop. As a fit, younger adult, the short walks/hikes were of easy-moderate difficulty level. Just wished we had more time to enjoy the wonder and tranquility of the scenery, but totally understandable that we had to adhere to ferry times. Managed to see a wild echidna (but sadly not a white wallaby)!
I really love this tour by Gino. He made the tour really fun, and shared history and fun facts about the island itself. Highly recommend this day tour.
Well worth the money! Our tour guide was friendly and funny, enjoyed the history and nature a lot
