The show begins with a traditional Smoking Ceremony and covers a range of content from the Dreamtime Stories of the Didgeridoo and the Seven Sisters though to notable historic events including the first landing, the Gold Rush, the ANZACS and more.

Disney musical
We had mixed reviews on this: Mom and I enjoyed it although it was not a history of indigenous people of Australia as we expected. It was more a snapshot or cliff notes version of the history of Australia as it was settled, presented in a Disney musical style. ;-) fiancé and dad were not as enthused as it seemed to them like a cheesy tourist trap, which can’t really be denied even if you enjoy it.

Fun family experience
We really enjoyed the show. Costumes, singing and beautiful backdrops - an entertaining and informative, short history of Australia. We took our teenage boys and we all enjoyed it. It is suitable for all ages.

Waradah
Brilliant acting and entertainment but I thought it was a shame that they didn't touch on the painful past of how the indigenous people were actually treated up until recent history. The most informative part of the tourist attraction was the display about the Aboriginals on a wall in the centre. It was very moving and everyone who visits should read it to realise what happened during colonisation. I was also told that the Aboriginal artists are only paid 5% for their work on sale at the centre which is very little considering how great the art is!

No show. Cancelled only found out on location
There was no show. There was a note saying the location was closed. I have not received anything about getting my money back. Very disappointed

Great performance
Great and intense experience that felt like almost 1 hour although it lasted for 30 minutes. Highly recommended if you visit Katoomba!
