Prepare to take your taste buds on a unique seafood journey, as you begin this unforgettable day of indulgence and relaxation cruising along Hobart's vibrant waterfront onboard a modern vessel custom built with leather seats and a spacious enclosed cabin.

We soon leave civilization behind and encounter a beautifully rugged wilderness environment with picturesque landscapes and deserted beaches that your guides are well acquainted with and know intimately. Because of their local knowledge, you'll get a fascinating insight into the area and it's history during the day as they go about their seafood catch and gatherings!

You cannot get seafood fresher than what is to come - slurp on succulent, freshly shucked oysters from Get Shucked oyster farm, followed by a visit to a stunning secluded Bruny Island bay where your guide will snorkel for fresh abalone and sea urchin.

After the gathering is complete, watch as the catch is turned into a bountiful seafood feast right before your eyes! Indulge yourself on rock lobster, abalone, sea urchin, mussels, oysters, sashimi, salmon perfectly paired with a delicious gourmet spread of fresh local breads, salads and artisan cheeses, and matched with Bruny Island Premium Wines, Jansz Sparkling, boutique Moo Brew beers, Willie Smiths & Frank's cider and locally-made organic juices.

  • Wild Abalone - your guide will jump in and snorkel to catch wild abalone, which are prepared and served onboard the boat
  • Rock Lobster - delicious Southern Rock Lobster (known locally as crayfish) is the centrepiece of your gourmet lunch. Tasmanian Rock Lobster are extremely sought-after and exported all of the world
  • Oysters - enjoy wild oysters from the farm of the multi-award winning producer 'Get Shucked'. Salmon - visit a salmon farm and enjoy locally grown sashimi, hot-smoked and cold-smoked salmon
  • Sea Urchin - your guide will gather these delicious seafood delicacies from the crystal clear waters around Bruny Island
  • Beer & Cider - savour locally made organic cider and boutique beer including Moo Brew and Willie Smiths
