Embark on an unforgettable adventure with our Sunset Reef & Range Overnight Loop! This two-day trek is perfect for those short on time but eager for a taste of the breathtaking Ningaloo Coast. Picture yourself hiking through the stunning landscapes of Cape Range National Park, where every step reveals the beauty of nature. From the moment we pick you up, excitement fills the air as we gear up for an incredible journey.

On Day 1, we’ll trek alongside the picturesque Yardie Creek Gorge, keeping an eye out for the rare Black Flanked Rock Wallabies and vibrant birdlife. As we ascend, the sweeping views of Ningaloo Reef will leave you in awe. Once we set up camp, get ready for a magical evening! Enjoy a delicious meal, spot Humpback Whales, and watch the sun dip below the horizon, painting the sky with vibrant colors.

Day 2 brings more adventure as we rise with the sun and savor a hearty breakfast. We’ll navigate ancient sandstone terraces and cross coastal plains, where you might catch sight of kangaroos or even a shy echidna. The highlight? A refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters of Ningaloo lagoon! After some beachcombing along the pristine coastline, we’ll return to Exmouth, filled with memories of this incredible experience. Join us for a trek that’s as exhilarating as it is beautiful!

  • Distance: 15 KM

    Trek Notes: Although a relatively short trek, our Sunset Reef & Range Overnight Loop does at times involve negotiating steep rocky gullies and rough, uneven ground; packs can weigh up to 15 kg. As we begin our trek to the top of the range in the late morning/early afternoon, daytime temperatures at certain times of the year can reach above 30C.

    Note: This itinerary may be subject to change due to natural events and upon instruction from the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation & Attractions (DBCA) due to Park management restrictions.
