On a clear day you will be able to see the Rainforest on the coastline as you snorkel the reef, it's a truly amazing experience.
This is a snorkel only trip, however if you wish you can come along for the ride and just enjoy being on the water. Being a short and fast 25 minute ride to the reef, the risk of sea sickness is minimized and easily allows us to visit 2 locations on the one half day trip. You will get to see an extraordinary array of coral species and marine life!
The boat ride to the reef, while we take every precaution to make this trip as safe as possible, is for the adventurous so if you have any serious pre-existing back or neck injuries we don't advise this trip, if you are at all concerned please contact us and we will discuss options.
Your experienced eco host and skipper will ensure you are left with an appreciation for this World Heritage area and a smile on your face.
Trip departs from Cape Tribulation, approx. 2.5 hours north of Cairns, or 1.5 hours north of Port Douglas. Public transport to get here is not readily available. While you can easily make the return journey in a day we recommend you take your time to experience the vast amount that Cape Tribulation has to offer.

Great tour!
Had an absolutely amazing time on this tour yesterday, saw turtles, blue starfish, amazing coral and weird and wonderful sea creatures. Great view of the Daintree from a distance too.

Unbelievable adventure
Had an awesome time out on the reef. Cole the skipper and Fredo were fantastic and very amusing tour guides, who were full of information. Beautiful coral, fish and turtles. Highly rate this tour. Great morning out. Do yourself a favour and book this tour. You won't be disappointed.

Great Operator
Really well organised day with very professional company - all equipment is top notch and a great part of the reef. As a FNQ local who has done 3 different parts of the reef with different companies - this was my favourite!

Fantastic!
Great trip, value for money and awesome staff. This trip exceeded our expectations because we went out to the reef where not many boats were. It was a small group of people but for us that was part of the attraction because you could ask as many questions as you wanted as well as a decent amount of snorkelling on 2 different reefs. We saw a lot of fish, coral, stingrays and turtles. The crew gave us informative information about the reef and do’s and dont’s for protecting the reef. Suitable for all ages and would highly recommend this trip. We travelled from Port Douglas and had to get up very early but we were so glad we did. Freddy and Glen were absolutely amazing crew and made the trip into the experience it was. Do yourself a favour and book this trip and I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Reef experience
Although it was a rough day on the sea our boat rude was fun Although not for the faint hearted. Both the guys were really good explaining what we could expect and how the day was going to go. The reef was amazing and then after an hour it was nice to relax on our own little beach.
